Although similar to the last pipe on this bike, this one goes from the left side through the frame to the right side of the bike. This pipe is longer and tucks out of the way of my left leg better.......wait till ya hear it!

HI,

Pic of our Power Pipe....We used to market these but they took a long time to build so we put them on hold for the time being.

This is my famous "Limp Dick" exhaust. It starts out with a stock header. Then a section of 1 3/4" Harley exhaust pipe cut to size. Inside are all the guts to the stock china girl exhaust. It has more volume than stock, and flows better, but is quiet, and works pretty well.

It doesn't have the bottom end to match an expansion chamber, but is about the same on the top end.

I had a lot of trouble running the stock exhaust. It vibrated a lot and used to come lose at the head. Somehow this exhaust, with it's curved pipe doesn't have that problem.

The first thing that comes to mind for clever exhaust was Bad Mojo.
66cc, SBP X chamber and a custom 3" glass pack so it sounded more like a Harley than a weed whacker.

The first thing that comes to mind for my worst was this build over 2 years ago, my first SBP X-chamber pipe installed per directions.

Don't get me wrong here, when I first fired up the bike it popped a wheelie and damn near dropped off the back on my ass so it worked, it was just butt ugly.

This one was pretty fun and it didn't burn your leg.

Big Red is nothing special, just a stock 2-stroke pipe with a couple bends but it looks good and not too loud.

Of course my very very best exhaust system is on my Electric Caddy, it's invisible ;-}

custom made nickel plated pipe on the AMF.

I like it! That's what I wanted to see. It looks great. One of the first things I get asked about my MB is the exhaust. In my opinion the first thing anyone notices about any engine is the exhaust pipe and how it sounds. It should fit the look and style.

Here's my my pipe Yamaha DT 50 with modified header

That's what I tried to do with my eBay pipe. How did you make the bends? I buggered mine up trying to make it fit.

I only use "junk" when I build pipe bends. I have welded together pipe bends in different dimensions, which I have sanded smooth on the inside

Is this too old of a thread for me to be posting? I thought it was too awesome...

That was my favorite :D

However, I was wondering... do you need to know how to weld to make these custom exhausts with EMT? Are there any special clamps that would do the job just fine? With some googling I couldn't find anything that looked strong enough...

this style is
vast_nov26_048.jpg

its called a sleeve clamp

you can also use silicon turbo intercooler hose with stainless steel hoseclamps
