Yea def want to try what arrow cycles has to offer. Future thoughts.

Im still modifying the pipe i built, I've pretty much contoured and welded the pipe around the bike frame for maximum clearance. With the baffle i made for the end of the stinger in its current downward position its blowin soot and exhaust crap on the frame. Imma figure out a better way to face and remake the baffle. it really makes a 50% noise reduction.

An old thread but a good thread!
I like your pipe, Greg58. It is clean, simple and good looking.

Here is the newest one I have made, albeit a while ago for my Point Beach build.

Click on it for a larger picture.

I'll play!

I've since 'sealed' the turnout to the end of the muffler with some silicone tape --- good for upto 500*. Just needed something that is removeable so that I can clean the stainless steel scrubby that I put in the muffler for extra sound suppression. There's a wire through the end of the muffler that retains the scrubby and turnout.

That's funny Theon, I know you are from the land down under but pictures of your bike upside down doesn't work for me!

Thanks Gearnut, my pipe is nothing like what you and others have made but works well for the low range torque I was after. It has a 16" head pipe into a 1.9" od conveyor carier roller body with a 1/2" id stinger, it's a little loud but is the best yet for the 48cc that I have made.
