Felt Cruiser Build......not for cruising

it has been done. i saw it on youtube before i started my project. a while ago.

I figured it probably had as I heard of people wanting......I cringe at the thought. We had them in at Costco several years back for $200-$250, I could barely ride the thing as the geometry was junk.....I'm not kidding.

Almost bought one for the cool factor......soooo glad that I didn't!

yeah it's just for going straight. nothing else.

Try just going straight with this back wheel......I bet you can't.

And they said it was a bomb-proof rim..........uh..yeah?

.duh.

While getting the Slant back into shape, I will also start my long awaited 99cc Dyno build. Here are a few of the parts I will be using, it will be my ultimate daily rider for commuting and fun.

What is the dinner plate looking thing scotto.

oh, wow, i thought that was some kind of flying saucer thing you found in the desert, while looking for neil.

I thought the OCC handled well, it just drifts a lot. I even rode it on dirt and gravel roads. You gotta get used to it and get better tires, the Vee tread tires have no grip, the same tires on my motard are just as slippery even when dry. The problem with the chopper style bike is that there is way too much front rake, so you need to use leaning, because turning the bars makes the bike want to slide or wash out.

K10 forks remove the ridiculous chopper rake and should make it handle better, this is my cruiser bike, prolly won't bring it to race, its heavy. It should be fast and stable and ride nicely, shock seatpost too.

Hey that looks awesome 16v4 !!(^)

I see what you mean about the forks makes a lot of sense. That machine looks very solid.

Scotto's frame is great as well. Have come to want one of these frames for a while.

You should turn that rear-end into a mono shock and ditch the shock seatpost.......it would be really plush then ;)

Unfortunately, I might have to sell this build after I break it in, so I'm going to keep it hardtail for the time being. I have too many bikes and want to build about a half dozen other different ones so it might have to go. Gonna have a tiny crankset behind the engine so I'm not sure whether there's room.

Scott, make sure you come to the next race and bring your 212, you and your muscle bike will sorely be missed if you don't come.
