Over the past 2 or 3 months I have added a few to my collection
SKS Norinco Sporter, takes AK mags

Winchster 1887 made in 1887

Taurus micro comp-act .380

Ruger .22/22 mag

Mossberg 500 Persuader

Winchester 1894 made in 1949

Remington 597 that I am about to trade for an Enfield No 2

And finally

No doubt Cain was the first marksman...weve been throwing rocks to protect our caves/clan from the git-go ...we can now throw em half way round the world with pin point accuracy ,,,even strap cameras on em...we will always throw rocks...because we will always have the reasons we throw rocks...fear jealousy greed hatred...much easier to build rock throwing devices than to wrestle against our human nature

I think I may have a natural talent with a revolver. I'm a crack shot with a 38, be it Smith, Colt, Taurus, what have you.
That said: though I spent a few years with an S&W model 10 strapped to my hip, I was always hoping to God that I'd never have to pull it. And when I found other work I was so glad not to be carrying that heavy hunk of iron that I went out and sold it and never looked back. Target shooting is still fun, and I still like getting out my crossbows, but I don't own a gun anymore.

Nice shelf of trophies. I'd be proud too.

Yes I have guns. And just like someone famous once said "Ted Kennedys car has killed more people than my guns have!"

Target shooting, trap & skeet or whatever can be a very exciting and fun sport that if you haven't you need to try. Responsible gun ownership. I have taken many non-gun people to the range and all have walked away with a big 'ol grin from ear to ear. Folks that don't know anything about guns get all their info from Hollywood which is...The land of make believe. Once you give people the chance and knowledge of responsible gun ownership they usually start their collection. Nobody has just one for long.

Because I was the biggest guy in my squad in the reserves I got volunteered for MK 19 training. That thing was some serious fun to shoot. I should buy myself one for landscaping.

I used to shoot a lot. Belonged to a gun club and shot matches every month, sometimes twice. Was at the range at least once a week and shot 1-2 thousand rounds a month.

Yes I have a progressive reloader and a lot of those rounds were .22's.

I have a knack for it I guess.

It was fun to go to the range and watch people who just don't get it. They would be hard pressed to keep half of them on a sheet of newspaper at 25 yards. I would see them watching me go 6 for 6 on a paper plate. Then I would paste up some poker chips and pop them them off.

That's when they would pack up their stuff and leave - :)

I used to be real big in cowboy shooting when we lived in TX about 30 yrs ago, my favorite out of my collection is an 1874 Shiloh Sharps rifle, 45-70, 34inch barrel, good for 1000 yds. My best shots with an open Creedmore site was 450 yds. Anything more than that was real hard you had to allow for wind drift and temperature. I could shoot farther but my accuracy wasn't the best. I did my own bullet molding using lead wheel weights trimmed my cartridges for accuracy. Most of the time I shot a 450 grain bullet. I don't shoot much any more, tired old eyes.
That gun sold for $900 30 yrs ago and you can't find one for less than $4000 now.
