Venice Ruff Cycles Chopper Build

I'm getting close to finishing it... Today I installed the pedal chain & roller for it to clear the bottom of the engine.

Now I'm just waiting on more parts to finish it before tearing it down for powder coating.

I finally got the seat from Ruff Cycles (in Germany)... The PO lost it (& returned it to sender)! Grrrrr! :(

Here's some pics of where I'm at right now...

Now I'm gonna start making the intake manifold & exhaust.

This bike's getting real close to its first test ride & then a full tear down for powder coating & chrome!! :D

Hey Norm,

That frame has got to be my favorite store bought frame I have ever seen!

I crave that bike! I really liked the pull back cruiser bars instead of ape hangers.

Would love to be riding next to you in that bike sometime in the future on a group ride.

4 strikes forever!

Gilbert

venice very nice and going by your test ride you very happy with the build well done great job once again ,
can i ask what is the front hub you used on this

Man, that is one boss hog!

That thing is loud dude. Do you get to keep this bike, or is it for a customer? I would love to go for a ride with you on that crazy cool bike.

Are you going to keep it drill starting, or do something se?

I used a Shimano disc brake hub for the front wheel.

This one's already sold... (but I'm planning on taking out for one good ride before I hand it over). ;)

It's going to be a 'rope pull' start.

The day has finally come!!!!

There's only a couple of minor details to handle, but it's pretty much finished!!!

Big thanks to Jeff Wolf, James Salsero & Bob Barnes for their help in this project!

Sweet build, Norm. One thing I like about your bikes is your sense of line... for example the way your exhaust pipe follows the line of the frame... that's nice!
SB

Thanks for the compliments SB... This bike took me 10 months to finally finish, & you're the only one to comment on it. (I guess that means you're the only one who cares). :)
