It doesn't take much , On mine i had to take a little off the primary gear and the gear on the clutch hub . On mine the primary gear wasn't true and rubbed the clutch hub . And just had to take a little off the clutch gear to get my end play . Each motor may be different on what you have to do to make it work .May I ask what you needed to modify to mount the Tomar clutch? I'm building a clone OCC and will prolly need a clutch eventually if the three shoe is as bad as you guys say.
