Thanks for that link ccc, I wish I knew about that last week. The tank for my v-twin is nearly done, but I will keep that site in mind if I decide to build another bike.
No prob Jeff , You should of asked me to make you some they are pretty easy to make .I will be using this in alum...to secure the tank on the bottom. Thanks Andy for the heads up on this... Stepped Blind tank bungs - Bungs
As far as paint this may just stay raw metal with a clear coat, then some pin striping
I am going to swap out a 26 inch wheel and see how it looks vs the 24
Ok... I will take six of them if you don't mind...let me know if you need me to pick up the stock. No prob Jeff , You should of asked me to make you some they are pretty easy to make .
Aluminum is what I need...thanksnot a problem Jeff you need them made out of aluminum right .
Nice tank Jeff, I don't think the thumper is gonna take a liking to low fat milk however......I have completed the welding of the tank, just need to prep it and complete the texture. It turned out nice. Looks like it could fit 3 half gallon jugs of low fat milk in it....
Thanks Headtrama for the guick service on the killer custom bungs...they worked out great and I did not melt the threads...lol
You need to check with a Steel Supply, or Iron Supply and see what they have it would be probably cheeperThat tank looks great. What size tubing is it ? I checked out McMaster-Carr and thier prices on aluminum boxed tubing scare the $hite out of me.
