I know the problem. Since buying one of those scrawny little Storm electric fat bikes, I've been riding it more than I Stealth lately.

I've considered it when I purchased the Sabvoton. But the Adaptto wasn't easily available at the time and I wasn't about to do a bank transfer to Russia with no guarantee of getting the controller into the US. But whenever I have a grand laying around again, I'll sure buy the Adaptto.
Sabvoton is nice, but freakin' huge. Torque is crazy, throttle response is nice. Not using the boost feature, just the slip charge and I miss the 3 speed setting I had with the Lyen controllers.
I peaked a bit over 10kW on 18s lipo. Smoother and more powerful vs the 18fet blown controller it replaced. Top speed is the same.
The Sabvoton in default setting is really quiet and underwhelming. It's just as "loud" as the Lyen controller at startup when tweaked for more Powa!
Added dust/water shield to keep the wires clean.

I still have to wire up the dc-dc converter and wire up a 5k pot to mess around with the variable regen.
Finally got the Regen to work on the Sabvoton. Installed a automotive relay hooked up to the dc-dc converter, which is activated through a button. I omitted the variable Regen idea and just shorted out the signal wire to ground. I use Slip charge on top of that. This setup works out better for me. Regen is strong as ****. I get the same top speed on 18S lipo , as I did with 21S lipo with Lyen controller. Below pics are from my 15 minute commute.
Phase wires are 10 AWG and power wires are 8 AWG. Controller stays cool and so does the batteries. Motor is the warmest after my commute.
