That is absolutely fabulous - and i love your accent too ! I think you have showed what can be done with dedication ,patience and skill which i for one do not have !

Thank you, people, I am very glad and happy to see your words, and your forum overall - it is interesting, to know, that such motorized bicycles are built also in US and Canada, Australia!

English is my third foreign language... Hope, I am better, than Google Translate :)

One of aspects, good for restoration of Russian machinery - that time (50-60-70-ties) a lot of products were standardized in planned economy. For example - very-very similar lenses were used not only on bicycles, but also on different agrimotors, cranes, tractors, and even military machines, just painted green there.

Thank you very much for sharing your talents, skills and your bike with the members. If you do any more projects please remember us. Thank you again.
Tom

My son studies the Russian language.

Here is a book about testing and driving the first D4 engines, in 1950-ties. Book in Russian.

... these were totally crazy motorized bicycle riders - drive them across the whole USSR, including desert, bad roads etc., without cellphones, without assistant car and so on. Enthusiasts!

You have done a very nice job restoring that bicycle. I am very impressed with your stencils and decals. Thank you for sharing the pictures.

That was a long story... Wanted them quite a lot, but had no example... Then saw similar motorized bicycle being sold, called a seller, and got these pictures:
