Well junior did a little more work on the bike with my supervision laff...still don't trust him with a cut-off wheel, chiz I really don't trust myself.

We cut a bunch of junk off the motor, it sure is a good looking motor. We will use a rope to start it which work well.

I like the way this bike is turning out, simple and clean. We have a bunch of tabs to weld on such as chain tensioner and top motor mounts.

Better pictures today...

A lot is moving along on this project and it's getting done fast.. We cut off a lot of access brackets on the motor that weren't needed and the motor looks awesome, clean, and simple. Also welded on tabs to the frame for the; seat stays, chain tensioner, and top motor mount. The jackshaft has been put on and gives plenty of clearance for the cranks... we drilled and tapped the top of it for a chain guard that will easily bolt on, and made a bracket for the carb and drilled some holes in it (ya know.... the WCC extra touch) to add some detail.

Overall, both CCC and I are very pleased with how everything is turning out.. the motor looks very clean and reliable.. and the bike looks solid..

Will post more pictures later

More progress coming along on the bike.. Seat stay bracket welded on, should add a good amount of stiffness to the back triangle of the frame. Also finished the chain guard for the motor; drilled and tapped 4 holes in the top of the jackshaft plate, made a chain guard, and bolted it all together.

The bike is looking better every day!!

Finished the bike last night, ended up polishing the tank to a nice shine (thanks dad), also wiped down the bike... frame seems to be rusting fast. Planning on getting it powder coated black or maybe a grey...? Overall the bike runs great already, almost started on the first try.... Very happy with the bike.

Enjoy the photos..

That is a way cool looking MB! I had someone sabotage my FD I bought from Stan-inc.com, tore up the rope pull crank assembly. I did the wrap the rope around the pulley thing for a while then I finally figured out I could start it with a cordless drill motor and a socket drive attatchment...worked like a charm & also serves as a good theft deterrent (ya gotta know how to start the thing to get going) If you did this you could loose that dish on the right side spinning next to your leg.

very nice Ice and jeff. to bad our schools dont have shop classes anymore. you could go to the PTA meetings and put iceman in some extra credit classes [casting parts] and such. looks like it might be time to retire building motorized bicycles as you have gone about as far as you can. next up motorised bicycle bar's [who wants to peddle?] a lot more people would show up for motorised bicycle bar racing at the nice cool beach you think?? dennis
