The engine looks so good sitting in the frame and the carb is a real plus... the angle is just right and helps to fill the space in the frame.
I do like that engine and the 147CCs should move it along nicely. Have you started it yet? When you get the chance, if you would, please remove the pull start shroud off the spare Jacobsen we cannibalized for parts to see if the flywheel is bell shaped like yours in these photos or flat like mine. If flat then I'll see if Rick has one to sell me. If bell shaped, then sometime over the course of the winter I'll remove the fins and then for sure will use it on the "kindalikeawhizzer" build along with a CVT. I may put a compression release valve on mine and then use the ratcheting hand crank for a starter. I'll be anxious to see what you think of the engine once you have it going. What a great tri-car! Must be nice to sit out there giving it the long stare, eh?
A day will come when we ride our tri-cars through little Ely, Minnesota and stop the traffic as we pass by. Woohoo!
