Measure Twice,

The original bikes had a large portion of the motor nickle plated and unfortunately that included the carb though I think I will age it to tone it down to better match the rest of the engine so it doesn't stand out so much.

Looks like a beacon in a dark night the way it is.

Yes, it looked like all it needed was gas & oil to run. It did not go cheap:

There was a Reading Standard tadpole at the auction as well

While it had been restored, the work was very well done

It had an interesting primary reduction assembly

Why not ride it? Sold for $27,000 USD

While the work was very nice, it was only an 85 point job. The dummies chrome plated a bunch of stuff that should have been Nickel...

So, yeah ride it all you want.

Thanks. I see that along with the early Indian tri-car the Reading also has the engine as part of the seat post support which sure conserves space. Nice!
