Your brave indeed to wade through that lot of photos. I would never have guessed that it would take me this long to get it done. Between the arthritis and having so much trouble finding anyone interested in doing the work I needed it has been slow. It took two times to get the wheels spoked correctly at the local high end bike shop and they still didn't do what I wanted done.
When I got the brake cables from the motorcycle shop I asked the owner if he could recommend a machine shop and he said a few years ago he had 5 or 6 but now they were all gone with the owners retiring and no one to take their place.
My leg is finally letting me get around reasonably well so I'll be able to get it finished if this machine shop pans out. It would have been easier also if I had just built a tri car instead of trying to make it look like a historic build. I won't make that mistake again.
