Your bike ran good scotto, my eyes are still watering and my voice is horse from whatever you were burning in that thing .
Sorry Andy, it musta been the few mothballs that rolled into the fuel by accident.....it won't happen again ;)

Did you say something Baird? No wonder my hearing is so bad, I keep forgetting to tone this race bikes exhaust note down to an acceptable level.......or is it because of the Deep Purple and Led Zepplin concerts I went to in the 70's ? Prolly a little of both :D

Here's a few pics of the bike ready to race again. I spent another half hour getting the remaining thorns out of the rear tire yesterday. All told there were approximately 200 thorns in the front tire and 75 in the rear. I think I'll be running a few ozs of slime from now on, just in case.

See you in the pits.......

That sucks. I use mr. Tuffy tire liner and no flats for me. When i use to work at a bike shop i see thorns penetrate through the tires & the tire line just gets a dent in it but stops the thorn. It really works. Plus I'm just lazy & don't want to take the rear wheel off to change the tube.

Still looking awesome, scotto-!
It had incredible power before when I rode it. How is it now?
How soon 'till you'll need a parachute and wheelie bars on the back?

You're bike still looks scary fast standing still!
I'm just hoping you have a lousy hole shot and have to work your way back to the front of the pack because that's the only chance I have on beating you in a couple of weeks! J/k on the hole shots...or am I? lol ;)
I still haven't had a chance to see my bike since the last race and I'm pretty sure I have to replace both inner tubes.
I'm going to try out the tubes Goat recommended but use the same old tires. When my rear tire was new, I had a bad rear wheel hop that almost threw me off the bike exiting the corners. I think the hook worms have too much grip when they're new and need to be scuffed.

I'm looking forward to some good racing in a couple of weeks...

You betcha Andy, new tires, a new sparkplug and a new air filter. The engine is prolly broken-in now........it's got a whopping 40 hours as of today lol.

I'm thinkin the sooner, the better........at least a wheelie bar anyway. You gotta take it for a ride now, then you can tell me.

Yeah Dave, Mr Tuffy's work really well, I used to use them in my mtn. bike tires when thorns were an issue.......and some slime as well. They do add considerable weight to a wheelset however.

See you on Saturday!

We sure did Scotto! If I would have know your Buddy was out there taking pictures, I would have given him my camera to take pictures. Lots of great action that weekend!
Looking forward to 2013 for more fun times at the track!
