scotto. i see no need for the top idler, to me it's just another bearing to go bad with all that torque on it. if your using it as a guide i'd line it up so the chain does not power against it. just my 2 cents bro. dennis
before you installed the top idler pulley, would the bike would shake during fast acceleration? and now that you installed it, it shakes less?
