i got a mobile CB i can use...10-4??
I've got two cans and a really long string.......with possible satellite reception. The only problem is there is no LCD for the cool read-out, no USB ports and it doesn't play MP3's very well :D

EDIT: I just downloaded the toucan app for my iCan......now I can communicate with iCans all over the world. This is some powerful software!

I'm curious to know if the motos/ heat races are going to run like previous races, basically nothing, so I can save my bike for the final.
Your memory is slipping...
At the previous races the heats were scored and used to set the
starting order for the final race.
You stalled at one of the races so you had to go to the back of the pack
which is how it should work same as if you are late getting on the track.

If you don't race the heats for whatever reason you will be in the back row
in the final race.

Most people racing like to get in as many fun laps as possible and they
aren't worrying about "saving" their bikes for the final.

Also I am thinking about making the finals 10 laps this time.

Here's one for you, the Midrange has a mix of bikes from 99 cc HF, 3 Hp
Briggs all the way to faster bikes like a 5.8 HP Morini and your hopped
up GX 120 so I am proposing that we start the slowest bikes in front and
the fastest bikes in the back.
What do you think? :)

The Midrange Class has a cap of 8 HP, I would have liked to make it 7 HP
If your bike makes over 8 HP you will be in the 11.99 HP Class with the 9 HP
Morini's and ~200 cc Harbor Freight 4 strokes.

If your bike makes over 11.99 HP you will be in the "Unlimited Class"

I do like that there is a hp cap for the mid class and the GX120 that my brother will be racing is a stock carb, and only mods is the governor removed and a billet flywheel so wrong it's not all hopped up. I could dump more cash into the engine but that would put it into the unlimited class but that wasn't my intention. It was to race this engine in the mid class.

I'm not at all convinced that the 10 lap final is your idea.

Have a real final and make it 20 laps. so then the racers can get their 'fun' laps in racing.

Were on a race track, get it 'race' track, a race track is meant for racing.

Great, good to hear that. :)
Actually if you go over 8 HP you would be in the 12 HP Class.

A few people have left the 12 HP Class because some bikes went
way over and it turned into a HP / dollar race and that is Not going
to happen with the Midrange Class. :)

Most of the MIdrange Class is 5 HP Briggs, 5 HP GC 160's, 99 cc HF and
it would be good to keep them competitive.

The Unlimited Class is all the monsta bikes that are over 12 HP like scotto,
culvercityclassic, dmb's little red, meano larry, Easy Rider, agk, probably one
of Big Boys bikes, a couple of fast mopeds Tomahawk Tuning and Ryan the dyno man.

The 12 HP Class is wide open with number #69 Erin HF, Alex from Tucson 9 HP
Morini, Magrider 11 HP Morini, Joker Machine's Briggs Animal, and ???

The 12 HP Class will be raced with the Unlimited Class and scored separately.

I get it and I get your attitude. :)

That's totally up for debate, would like everyone to say how many laps
in the final they want to race.

We are adding another class this race, the 2 Stroke Amateur so
that adds another hour to the day with two 6 lap heats and a 12 lap final.

Only doing 10 laps instead of 12 saves 2 laps x 5 classes so keeps the
time around the same, at least doesn't make the day too long.

We could do one heat and a longer final too, I really don't care so it's
up to everyone that is racing, mr conspiracy theory. :D

M1GP only races 8 lap finals, but they have a lot more classes than us.

8 lap, 10 lap, 12 lap and 20 laps are all 'Racing!'

magrider, your vote for a 20 lap final is in, what does everyone want to do?

Why give the 2 stroke amateur class their own class? I'd say just throw them in the mid or unlimited class based on their hp. Those classes are already 2 stroke and 4 stroke engines and the racers already have the knowledge on how to race. Just my .02

The Chinese bicycle kit engines are the most numerous build of
any motorized bike, there are a LOT more of them out there.

This is where the motorized bicycle racing started and it's where
the new riders are going to come from.

It's an entry level class for new riders to get on a track for the first
time in an unintimidating race with fairly stock and cheap bikes, even
the bike they ride to the store.
It's fun and very affordable racing.

The Chinese bicycle engine Pro & Amateur classes are the only exclusive
race classes based on one engine.

The MIdrange is already pretty full too, 20 to 25 bikes is about as many as
you want on a track.

The new 2 stroke Amateur class is new riders so the idea of putting them
with the fastest Unlimited class is a really bad.
Part of the reason for splitting the class is to separate inexperienced riders
from faster lapping racers.

Rob at PistonBikes.com is sponsoring the 1st prize of a Grubee aluminum frame
with the built in gas tank
for the 66 cc 2 Stroke Amateur Class.
