Sat April 13th 2013 is the Next SoCal Motor Bicycle Racing Event

Thanks Neil for a good time as always. Nice to see old friends and meet new ones. Nice to get to hang out with Richard and Meano, hope your shoulder is not hurt to bad....

Thanks to all the sponsors, great prizes.

Hey I had a frickin blast! I saw some old friends met some new ones and got to RACE! My frame broke in the second heat so I got to watch and BS that rocked.
I learned a lot and got to see some cool art and I'll do better next time. Later Bob#85

It was a good event Neil, I had a good time and was good to see everyone again. Also thanks to piston bikes and everyone else who donated the prizes.

Finally back on a real internet connection so I can post the results.

Was going to go to Jim Grangers restaurant Cross Eyed Cow Pizza
that is nearby in Oro Grande and use their free WiFi to use my laptop
but that didn't work out. My cell phone took a dump too.

More than a little sunburned, chapped lips and my voice is going but
still grinning from the fun time at the race, seeing all the guys again,
meeting new friends and checking out some of the most outrageous
motorized bikes on the planet.

Gotta lot to do and say, but the race results are next after I get them
typed out.
Not to rub it in, but if you missed yesterdays race you really messed up! :D

PS: For everyone that couldn't make the event the next SoCal Motor Bicycle
Racing date is Saturday June 1st 2013.
47 days until we get to have another Fun time back at Grange Motor Circuit
riding the track in the reverse direction.

I would also like to thank Neil for putting on this super fun event. I don't think it's easy to do, and I do feel we all take it too much for granted.

My bike stayed together, I got it to go a little faster, I still suck on my racing lines and hitting the apexes, but I managed to keep my bike on the track and not crash, and I even came in third in the final. It was more accomplishment than I expected, and more than I deserve, but I am very thankful.

Thanks Neil, and thanks to Bob and the rest of the participants.

Gilbert

Gilbert, you surprised everyone with that hole shot and kept the lead with less than ''hi-tec'' machinery. we were rooting for you all the way and you looked good in your tuck, i thought you won but steve passed by you [didnt see that]and peds dont count. great 2nd place finish bro! you put smiles on all our faces. glad you and bob made it! dennis

Great race Gilbert. Why do they think flatheads are not hi-tech. Well, you don't have to answer that. We do what we can with them.

dale, we all know its harder to suck up than to blow down. nothing but respect for you guys and side valves seem to have less motor problems than anyone out there. and andy's motor ''flat'' gets it on. great to see you guys out there. dennis

Yeah great job Gilbert you rode the wheels off that bike yesterday . My little two stroke sputtered off the line in that last race and took about a lap to get it cleaned out . I managed to crawl my way from last place to fifth place .

Ya Gilbert you rocked out there... Your a mad man on that bike. That little purchase you made should put you in the front.... Nice to see ya at the track... Hit me up if you need anything.

Timm and I had a BLAST!! To much FUN!!

Thank you to everybody, it was so nice to hang out with
you guys!
Big thanks to Neil for organizing these races - we just wish
the track was closer! We JUST NOW came home to Placerville!

MSRFAN: we had fun!! Did you see this video?
