I haven't seen a thread about peoples other rides. Whether they are a car, a truck, motorcycle. I would like to see what every one else has for everyday use besides our "trust worthy" *ahem* motor bicycles.
Well I will start this party off.
First up is my 1977 C10 short bed. This is my new truck. I named him Clyde.
I also have a 1978 KZ400 that is currently hacked up and awaiting the day I stop being lazy and weld on my hardtail.
I have a few more motorcycles but they are in desperate need of an overhaul and rebuild I won't count them.
BTW i really like the bike you have that you plan on using for a build, i would love to do a similar project (i wanted to do a bobber style bike). I had known you could use Yamaha XS650 and other similar bikes, but havent seen a KZ400 but i like it very much. If and when you make a start id love to see a build thread here

Nice to see a fellow BMXer. What are you running for a frame? I got a old FBM Angel of Death. I had a 25 pound Mutiny Vape frame but I prefer a heavier bike, there more predictable in my opinion.

i used to have an SE Mauler X-Pert frame, but i ended up cracking on the down tube right by the neck. i wish i still had that frame, they aren't making them anymore.
So now i am running an SE Wildman Frame, with everything else aftermarket besides the cranks, seat post, headset, BB. everything else is either Eastern, or Nitrous which is part of Eastern.
its around 25 pounds, 3 pounds lighter then with the Mauler frame. Its real tight and strong. rides really smooth and built to take anything.
here's a picture of the mauler frame.
and i also have an old school 1980 Huffy Pro Thunder 4 i picked up at a yard sale for 10 bucks. i got the whole parts list on it from someone off of BMX Museum. and found out it was made in June 1980. everything is original. tires still hold air and it rides nice!

I love all things bicycle so my of rides are going to be my collection of mountain bikes. Each one is great for its intended purpose.
