Hemi Hawthorne

I just had a feeling they wouldn't allow them to be shipped there. Probably means a trip out of state or someone on the forum ships one in.

Can't understand why the are both overhead valve. There is also some tale about them doing away with all 2 strokes.................Curt

Thanks guys... Sheave is painted all spray bomb. Rims/sheave are lighter gray... Not sure if leaving them or not. Same with tank I took decal off and not sure about color. Might go same as frame....maybe dark red. I will be applying a decal but that one I posted was to busy.
 
WOW! Love everything about this one. The gray is nice. Really like the inverted levers. I have used mine up over the years, may scrounge some for an up coming build . Running the cables inside the bars is a nice byproduct of using them.
 
And I just pm'd you. Maybe I missed it, but did you stretch the frame. How's t h e build coming?

No this is a custom built frame and its long. I'm in the middle of switching over to drums from discs and mounting fenders. Been 30 degrees for a high her lately.
 
Same here guys! Sure glad i got heat in the shop, but can't wait to get outside and work in the sunlight.........................Curt
