Thank You everyone! I am so stoked right now. I never imagined a double-win at the biggest custom motorcycle show in the Country. I would not have bet money on it, that is for sure. And for it to NOT be a Harley-Davidson, OMG. Here is a video of me getting the award for 1st Place Old School/Antique, one for Best Display (This is kind of cool because it is judged by the EasyRider people themselves, it can't be voted for by attendees), and some assorted pictures.
Wow! Congratulations x 2!
I am highly impressed by your wins, especially considering, as you said yourself, it's not a Harley (or some Harley clone).
I believe that this is a landmark win for MB's all over, and we owe it all to you!
So a Thank You is in order here too!
I would love to see others on the MB forum enter full fledged big shows as well. There are so many great builds that have been done by Lurker, Sportscarpat, and others that I know would do well. EasyRider has five shows in the US. Anehiem CA, Sacramento CA, Charrlott NC, Columbus OH , and one other that evades me at the moment. I'm sure some of you Guys live near some of the others. Go to EasyRider.com and find the schedule in your area. It would be very cool to see some of you guys there
I posted the link for this on Facebook. You've shown the world there's a way to make a thing good, affordable and individual. The only downside now is you'll have started the next custom fashion.
This is kind of funny. I was on YouTube looking for peoples posted videos of the bike show I was at, and this guy makes this gorgeous video with music and videos the most exotic, super expensive machines that were there, and then he has my bike in amongst them, lol. I appreciate that he thought so highly of my build, which really cost about 1/40th of what every other bike in the video is worth. So I'm kind of honored by this....
Congratulations.....it might be a 1/40th of the cost ...but you still have put in the hours and have a unique display which appeals to the general public...again well done....DD
