I've always heard the veggies say they won't eat meat because "something had to die for it to become food". Huh? So they eat live carrots and broccoli? When does life end for a vegetable? When you pick it, or bite it?

And, are 'Animal Crackers' meat or vegetable?
What if they made 'Vegetable Crackers'? Could you Bar-B-Q them? Would you have to kill them first?

Sorry Dan. We're being silly.

LMFAO, snork.

Got me thinking of the line from the "Adams Family" movie.

"Want to buy some girlscout cookies?" "Are they made from real girlscouts?"

Girl Scout: Is this made from real lemons?
Wednesday: Yes.
Girl Scout: I only like all-natural foods and beverages, organically grown, with no preservatives. Are you sure they're real lemons?
Pugsley: Yes.
Girl Scout: Well, I'll tell you what. I'll buy a cup if you buy a box of my delicious Girl Scout cookies. Do we have a deal?
Wednesday: Are they made from real Girl Scouts?

LOL, showed her the vid, spoke in great detail about what it could do and about the first project to be done with it. she replied; "Is that the $70 thing?" Like that was it's name and designation from now on. (an' prolly is)

She really is great. Has no real interest in this stuff but really watched the video and tried to absorb what I was talking about.

LOL Goat, made me think of ya. I misread "groat" (Coin) for "goat";

"Pre-20th century

The printer Benjamin Franklin contributed greatly to waste reduction thinking
Most of the basic goals of lean manufacturing are common sense, and documented examples can be seen as early as Benjamin Franklin. Poor Richard's Almanac says of wasted time, "He that idly loses 5s. worth of time, loses 5s., and might as prudently throw 5s. into the river." He added that avoiding unnecessary costs could be more profitable than increasing sales: "A penny saved is two pence clear. A pin a-day is a groat a-year. Save and have."

i watched the video,an awesome tool for the mill.
i have something similar for the lathe.
my brother in law retired from the machine shop, passed down an armload of measuring tools.
70.00 well spent.
especially if you need to remove/move the part for some other process.
the music in the video reminds me of something i used to watch in the 80's.
my wife thought i was watching something inappropriate,i had to show her.lol.

TJ,

I had to listen to that music and it made me laugh. If you close your eyes you can imagine all sorts of things other than machine tools :)
