2 stroke engine

since the engine will turn over freely with the plug removed plug it back in the cdi and lay it on the head so you can see the tip of the plug, walk the bike with the clutch lever out. You should see the spark.

I check if it had sprak, yesterday. And it didn't. So I went to the Auto parts store and order a NGK bp6hs spark plug. Instead of the sprak plug that came with the Kit. Thanks

Unless I am mistaken, there is no adjustable spark plug. Are you sure it's not just the gasket or something you are talking about? If the reach on the plug matches your current one I would just put it in there. I'd check the reach because the last thing you want to do is mess up your piston because it slams into a sparkplug.

By reach I mean the threaded area. Don't forget to unscrew the terminal nut at the top so the boot from the CDI fits.

Well I try my new NGK spark plug and No spark. And when I pull the cap off the spark plug, everything came out with the spark plug, including the little spring.
Now for the next thing. My fuel line does not pass gas when I connect everything. My fuel line filter does not fill up, really no gas at all. But when I disconnect the fuel line, and let the gas drip on the ground. The gas goes threw the filter and the fuel line fine. Even on the same angle.
This project has become more than a nightmare. Iam glad I got you guys. Thanks .weld
 
I found out that the little brass and metal pieces that are in the spark plug boot, can come out. But its suppose to screw back on, and mine don't. So it's probably broken.
I went to the auto parts store. And the only thing they had is spark plug boots with wire. That go on cars, and they come in different sizes. I was wondering if I could use one of these wires and just cut the other end. And what size. Thanks. :-||
 
7mm is the size. Should be able to easily unscrew the current one.

When mine popped out I just pushed it back on. The spring that fell out apparently served no purpose as I never bothered to put it back. But I'm getting a new one too soon, but probably from piratecycles1.com since they have cool lookin ones that are quality.

Have you disconnected your killswitch from the wires?

As for the fuel line, unscrew the gas cap when its connected to your carb. See if that helps at all.

I don't Have to put the spring back on the boot then. Maybe now it will fit better.
No I haven't disconnect the the killswitch wires yet.

No It does not help to take off the cap off the tank.

What (MM) do I adjust the spark plug? Thanks

I got a NGK plug boot for less than3$ at the local m/c dealer. If you want to replace the wire it screws out of the cdi box, you may have to dig out the sealer to get it out.

Wires today that we buy are resistance wires. I recommend using a wire core wire (7mm). You can find the wire at a lawnmower repair shop, or off of a old lawnmower. This is one of the many items I recommend replacing. Now for the gas not flowing, did you clean out the fuel tank before installing it. Hardly any tanks come from the factory clean, and no telling what trash is in there. This trash can and will stop up the in tank screen/filter. Always operate engine with a inline filter between the tank and carburetor as the in tank screen is not designed to stop much.

The gas tank look clean. But I don't think thats the problem. When I unplug the fuel line and let the gas run on the floor, it will pour threw. Even with the fuel line filter.

I got this Radio shack ( 17 Range Multimeter ). And it's got a nob in the middle. I wanted to test my CDI. And find out whats my problem with my electrical. But How do I set it. And How much power will the CDi have. Thanks A lot.
