I was just scrolling gumtree and came across a cheap new in box motorised kit the guy said he is unsure if it's a 80 or a 50, I'm going for a look and I wouldn't know how to tell let alone if all the parts are there and what makes a good kit from a bad one? I'd imagine I wouldn't want a flat roller style tensioner and want a good set of mounts ect.... It's half the price of any kits online here so if it is zbox as he said it's a steal

Any help much appreciated

Welcome to the forum, look at the nuts holding the head on, the 48cc engine has 6mm studs. All 66/69cc engines made in the last 10 years have 8mm studs, the gasket template can help you identify it as well.

It's a 66 and the guy took 90 bucks what now? I've got a really good bike but the sprocket is broken can I just put the kit on and use it as is ? Whole new bike? Recommended tools? Just any tips on getting the sprocket on ect ?

What do you mean when you said the sprocket is broken, I'm with Curt, post a few pictures of what you have and someone will advise.
