Gasket Templates

I had a problem a few weeks ago when the base gasket failed on one of my 48cc engines and I didn’t have one, I managed to make one but a template would have made it a lot easier. The templates below are for 48cc and 66/69cc engines. If anyone wants to add please do so.

I just tried it and it works, I'm not that great with attaching files.

Here is a gasket making tip.

Clean the surface with carb cleaner.

Cover it with masking tape.

Run your dirty finger all over it. Use extra dirtiness on the edges and holes.

Peel off tape and apply lightly to gasket material.

Cut it out and remove tape.

Told you I bought a box full of motors 2 48s and 2 66s. all disassembled.
8.5 x 11 standard print - Match up great to what I have! Perfect timing for my winter projects. Thanks again G

I’ve done that in the past, the base gasket with the studs still in place would be hard.

Then use the jug. Cut the tape around the cylinder. Make one out of cardboard and keep it as a template.
