You can get marine grease at almost any auto parts stores. It's great stuff. Ever seen what happens to regular grease when you get water in it? It's not good. Comes out all milky and loses its properties. I use it because splashing through puddles is inevitable, and I've never seen a bike with axle seals. Dust shields, but no seals. I grease up both axles, the pedal crank, head tube bearings, and a little dab on the clutch gear and bucking bar and ball. It's cheap too. Don't waste money on overkill. That's like justifying a Bugatti over an Accord. Just because it's "better" doesn't always make it the right choice for obvious reasons.
I buy Craftsman tools. It's like the Honda Accord of tools. Works great, has a great warranty, highly reliable, easily replaced.
