(Trying this again. *sigh*)

Okay. I guess I'll post a pic with the Tempus AND me in it. I'll have to take a much better one later on; this one is a bit of a disappointment to a man who's been a professional photographer before. I had the camera on a tripod, no wind, and it blurred somehow (?!?!?). I meant to have my goggles 'round my neck, and to be holding my helmet. But I set the helmet down and it went invisible. I plum forgot the goggles. I remembered my gauntlets though. And I could'nt resist playing with the sepia tone and stuff.

Next time I may not include the helmet either. But I want to try for better clarity/sharpness, and I want to have my goggles on. But this should give you some idea who's behind the "mad scientist" moniker.

(I just noticed: I make my big ol' bike look small. Hmmm...gotta keep loosing weight. Oh, and the helmet turned up - as a carrying-basket for a small stuffed dog that one of my daughters wanted to give rides to. They work quick.)

This has been a wonderful and inspiring thread. Man, you guys have built some lovely rides. And as an aging baby boomer going on 60, it was refreshing to find that there's a fair amount of gray hair sprinkled amongst the builders and riders here. I was afraid I was an old fart exception, but lo, I am in the company of many others who qualify for old fart status, but keep their inner children happy!

I was looking for an old picture. Stumbled on this thread and wanted to bump it. Really good one.

Did kinda bum me out. Lots of folks kinda got gone over the years.

Great old thread, Dan. Thanks for bringing it back.
Maybe it will generate some new interest and we'll see some of our current members and their rides.
Come on guys. Don't be shy. Join in.

Really made me miss some of the folks who got gone.

Fin and to many others to mention.

Was kinda funny way back when. Most of us were clueless about MBs and the other half was pulling hair out trying to walk us threw.

I don't mind being bald, but I always forget to powder my head to cut the glare down in photographs.
