That's easy, just treat it with that stuff I used to seal Stunner's gas tank. That stuff looks just like the inside of a thermos after it dries. You'd be the life of the party for sure.

I do not partake in the party. I'm a hermit, living in my hermit kingdom. Until my bike hits the beach that is. Then I'm mobbed like a rock star. That was with my old bike. If this new bike is actually able to power through and on top of beach sand, at speed, then I'm not sure what kind of reaction I'm going to get from the public. Something you just don't see out here is any type of bike on the sand with a rider on it. LMAO

Bicycle riders at the beach out here are confined to a 10 foot wide bi-directional patch of concrete that, on the weekend, in the summer resembles the 405 freeway during rush hour traffic. Absolute grid-lock. I plan on riding with them until the bike path takes one of it many turns inland, then I plan on simply continuing my direction straight-wards off into the sand, like I was launched out of a cannon.

This is the only thing that you will see of bicyclists actually in the quicksand of L.A. beaches. Them standing beside their bikes, in the sand, with a big smile on their faces. lafflaff

In a hall effect controller the controller turns on 2 windings at a time according to rotor position and changes the direction of current flow. Since there are 3 windings there are 6 possibilities. That's why they are also know as "6 step" controllers.

A B C in sets of 2, 6 possibilities;

AB
AC
BC
BA
CA
CB

This is not nearly as efficient as powered all 3 simultaineous with sine waves. Sine is much smoother

also my understanding is things are a lot quieter when using sine wave technology on electric bicycles. plus the name sounds cool lol

To really do it properly you need high resolution feedback, an encoder. Then the drive knows where the rotor is to 10th's of a degree as well as the speed. With this info it create 3 perfect sine waves that make a field flux vector 90 degrees to the rotor.

Torque is a vector. It is F X R. That's F cross R, not F times R.

Force (F) times Radius (R) times sine of the angle. If the angle is not 90 degrees, then you are putting amps in for nothing. An extreme case is angle 0. You could put in infinite amps and get zero torque because sine of 0 is zero.

LFP stopped praising them a while back because of very poor quality control on the Nano-Tech batteries from HK.

Now I think he is helping the lost kids on ES that can't solder figure out how to use 18650 cells and the type of foam to use ?

I can see now that batteries are gonna be the very last thing that I buy for my bike. It's always the battery issue.

The A123m1 cells are rated at 60C ? I have never discharged a cell that fast. A 1 min ride?

That is why they are the electric drag racers choice ? :)

I'm guessing it's better to go with a high voltage pack 96v+ instead of high amps, that way the packs C discharge rating isn't so critical?
