Great looking bike, looks fast standing still. Are you guys offering the electric start option on your production models?
The electric start motors come with a generator/regulator for charging the battery. Should be enough juice to run a modest light as well.Pat & Rich,
....Am also looking in to a generator for it.

Thanks, Rich. I wish I'd known this before buying my 212 Predator. Your bike looks great. The electric start motors come with a generator/regulator for charging the battery. Should be enough juice to run a modest light as well.
According to the seller on eBay, yes they fit... If memory serves, there's some kind of clone adapter needed... or is my CRS (Can't Remember ****) kicking in?Will the GX200 starter kit work on the Predator 212?

Honda clone 6.5 ?????? what size??? what cost???? and where do you get them best price ????

Yes they are, even in very cold weather. Last year I replaced the motor on my son's snow blower and the 212 has been an easy start and dead reliable.Even if you don’t get a E-starter SB, at least these engines are easy to pull start...

Yeah, right! Rich brought that setup by the shop and I remember saying "well that will never fit". Cart before the horse. We eventually made it fit. Now I have a couple extra engine mounts collecting dust in the shop. Their the learning curve engine mounts. That electric start doesn't take up much room at all... nice!

I know how tight a fit can be where a mere sixteenth of an inch can make the difference. But you guys did it! How cool is that?Yeah, right! Rich brought that setup by the shop and I remember saying "well that will never fit". Cart before the horse. We eventually made it fit.
