Arizona Dyno-Glide Build

Ok guys

I found a Dyno in Santa Anna California for $70.00 so I drove
out to pick it up ( 12 Hours round trip).
After looking through some threads ( Culvert City , Scotto, Head Trauma
, Venice Motor Bike and some others builds) I am ready to start a new build.

Making motor mount template and spreading rear stays using wood wedges.
Culvert City bolt in method .

AGK's mini hub will be my front sprocket mount, I milled a 3/16" keyway
in the crank shaft and drilled 2 more 1/4-20 set screw hole in the hub.

I have gone though your builds o so many times, you guys build some
vary nice bikes.
I will be making more progress this weekend so I will keep on posting.

Here is the motor mount, 3/16" aluminum plate the center mount is tapped for 3/8-24, there will be 3 1" clamps on the motor mount plate.

I am thinking the same thing, that Chief you built is sweet!
I can't wait to see this up close that Twin you have is clean.

This build is going to take some time, lots of parts to make but when
I'm done I will meet you at the Pavilions or go riding or both. The Schwinn
frame snapped at the welds, some I will be using some of the parts
off it .

Well here's my progress for this week end.

Here is the front engine mount with plywood drive plate.



The start of the intake manifold yes I used 1/2" conduit with 3/16"
plate and drilled a hole big enough to slide the conduit through and welded
on the inside and out side with a big fan blowing the fumes away. I still
need to weld the carb side but I will wait until I have it at ride height to
make sure the carb is level .

The engine plate is mounted with all 3 clamps, with the cranks installed.

Those items look like they are custom fabricated, probably Big Bill doing the work?

If so, there may be a side business venture present for Big Bill. Nice fabrication work.

Hey guy's Atomic is right I made these parts but if you look at
CulverCityClassic's Build on page 2 He has a link to some nice clamps
that don't break the bank.

What thickness are you planning to make your transmission plate?

I also have a Dyno Glide that I am building with a 79cc engine so I am very interested in your progress.

I am using 1/2" Aluminum plate ( not bar stock ) I am working on the trans mount now, I should have pictures buy this weekend.

The trans plate is getting close , when finished it will look like Culver City
but it will be pinned and bolted , Can't weld aluminum.

Drilled and tapped the case for a oil fill hole / a breather for a catch can.

Modified the rear trans mount , this should take care of the trans plate flexing.

I usually don't pay much attention to 4 stroke builds since I am a 2 stroker, but something about this one caught my eye. Nice Work! I wish I had the means to fabricate like you, scotto, and culvercityclassic...!!!!
