I think a trimmed saw blade would work just fine.......look at all the wavey edge rotors on the market these daysIt looks more like a saw blade than a rotor!
Hmmm...
I wonder how well a saw blade would work for a rotor? They are made from tempered high carbon steel.
I don't think I disclosed the final drive ratio somehow, so here ya go, it's 12:1. Seems to work really well with the nearly stock 99cc Pred engine.Do you have a final drive ratio for this build ? I tried to find it in the thread, but couldn't. If it's there, I apologize for glossing over it.
That's a good idea if you can work it out......less clutter on the dashboard that wayThanks.
You're on 26" rims, so I'll figure a circumference of 81-82". I'm trying to figure it for 29s with about 91.5" circumference and was hoping for a final drive ratio that would have the engine at about 1000 rpm/10 mph, that way tach=speedo.
MHF
Well then........here ya go!you should def make a video of u riding it. I really love the look of the bike and wanna see it in action instead of idling lol
Thanks Bill, that's why I cut down the disc and keep it de-tuned to keep them from locking up the back wheel.....they are very powerful stoppers in the jackshaft configuration, and I don't like to crash if I don't have too......Hi Scotto
How do you like the cut down rear disk? I run a 6" disc in the rear,
It stops great but it is vary grabby now I only use it if I have to stop fast.
Sweet build!!
Thanks Bill
