Thanks guys......appreciate your kind input! (^)

Got started on the rear brake again with a little modification to the rotor........ah, much better and more manageable! Clutch guard and more on the brake coming up next.......

It looks more like a saw blade than a rotor!
Hmmm...
I wonder how well a saw blade would work for a rotor? They are made from tempered high carbon steel.
I think a trimmed saw blade would work just fine.......look at all the wavey edge rotors on the market these days;)

Do you have a final drive ratio for this build ? I tried to find it in the thread, but couldn't. If it's there, I apologize for glossing over it.
I don't think I disclosed the final drive ratio somehow, so here ya go, it's 12:1. Seems to work really well with the nearly stock 99cc Pred engine.

Thanks.

You're on 26" rims, so I'll figure a circumference of 81-82". I'm trying to figure it for 29s with about 91.5" circumference and was hoping for a final drive ratio that would have the engine at about 1000 rpm/10 mph, that way tach=speedo.

That's a good idea if you can work it out......less clutter on the dashboard that way ;)

A couple of update pics of Predyno today......this bike is running better than ever!

I ride this bike everyday and every time I pull up to my destination, whether it be work, the gas station, the corner market or wherever, I get mobbed with people wanting one....where can I get one......who makes these things.....the usual.

It's just a bicycle with an engine on it.......what's the big deal? Lol.

Hi Scotto

How do you like the cut down rear disk? I run a 6" disc in the rear,
It stops great but it is vary grabby now I only use it if I have to stop fast.

Sweet build!!

Thanks Bill

Thanks Bill, that's why I cut down the disc and keep it de-tuned to keep them from locking up the back wheel.....they are very powerful stoppers in the jackshaft configuration, and I don't like to crash if I don't have too...... ;)

Hey scotto can I ask which brand pillow blocks you're using? I'm going the same route with pillow blocks but wanted to know if there are alternatives before I drop almost 100 dollars for two at McMaster. Thanks
