Haven't blown an engine yet.......the valves start floating at about 6,200rpm.

The oil looked better than I expected being fairly dark with some fine metallic, but still good transparency. I'm running Maxima 100% petroleum base for break-in. The next oil change will be the 50/50 pet/syn oil.

Time for new springs. :D

Do you have a catch can on the green bike? That's what it looks like.

Either way, nice rigs. :)

Thanks, some heavier springs would be nice but I'm keeping this engine stock outside of the larger carb that I installed from the beginning. And yes there is a catch can on the green bike, that's where a lot of the hoses are running to :D

Finally got around to building the quieter long street pipe for predyno.......what a pleasant decibel reduction! Here's the pics......

This pipe is like hush puppies for the 4-stroke.......

Can ya tell I don't own a tubing bender? laff

This pipe has cut the sound level in half and still sounds really good with a nice low pitch. I made it a convertible so to speak, too make oil changes easier and be able to switch back to the shorty version for different applications. A slip joint and hose clamp make for an easy add-on......I still need to weld a tab for the rear mount to the coaster brake bracket (temped with just a hose clamp atm) and paint the pipe.

i love this bike its making me want to convert my cruiser to 4t,whats the top speed?
The top speed that I've recorded on this build so far is 52mph and that would be with the help of a little gravity. It cruises easily at 41mph on flat ground with it's current gearing. Rode over 70 miles on it today and it runs like a champ!
