Looks like it is gonna be a nice looking bike so far. Has fun curves to the frame on it. I see you got a Sweet set of Down Hill Heavy Duty forks stashed away from our view in that towel ? !!:)

Here are a couple of more pictures Dennis , The hub is a Dam good engineering hub . It is the same hub they were using on the boxer bikes. I am running a mechanical rear disc brake and ill have a hydraulic front disc .

Yeah its a 62 tooth sprocket, i am thinking of going to a smaller one. When your not a great welder you need to be a awsome grinder....

Bike looks awesome! I'm like you. I grind down all my welds but you've done one heck of a job blending it in.
I think a 62 tooth is too big. That's what I use when I go riding on the trails or up in the woods with Dean. Your top speed will only be 30mph. I think the best rear sprocket I used for street riding is a 47 tooth. Plenty of power off the line with decent top speed (low-mid 40's) Im not sure if you got a pipe yet but the FMF Fatty pipe is probably the best pipe I've tested so far. Outragous mid range pull.

thanks easy, i was thinking of running a 52 tooth I think that should work good with the 26 inch rim. I am going to see if i can find a fmf pipe for it. Thanks for the tips i am looking forward to getting this bike on the track.

If it helps, I've been using a 50 tooth sprocket at the track. It's been working out for me but I am using a h2o cooled morini.

I use a 24" rim on my Boxer but I used a 26" rim on my GT LTS back when I had my air cooled morini.

more teeth on the c/s can work real well toward higher gearing. i think you can go from a 9 tooth up to a 12. thats a lot of change. dennis

Yeah thats true, one tooth on the counter shaft is like two teeth on the back sprocket. Anybody know where i can get a 50 tooth sprocket.?

That's a great build, I will be following in your foot steps. You and your Schwinns... Me and my Dyno's. We know what we like that's for sure.

The way that boxer is just sitting in my garage, I think I may be able to sell it with- out a motor easier... List it as a mountain bike... Lol... Then I got my two stroke...

That sounds like a plan jeff, stick a clone in that boxer and sell it. I am liking this build, For some reason this bike has a lot more leg room.
