Speaking of Sesame Street: I remember when Oscar the Grouch was orange. And Gordon had hair.I remember it, but just barely. It must be one of my first memories of television, next to Sesame Street and the Muppets, that is.
Don't know about Gordon, but I can remember when I had hair. And that was a while backSpeaking of Sesame Street: I remember when Oscar the Grouch was orange. And Gordon had hair.
Yep! By the band Buggles.Hrmm.... Wasn't it "Video Killed the Radio Star"...?
Yeah... How much (useless) rock/music trivia is stored in my head sometimes disturbs me. Maybe I should have gone into broadcasting and gone radio DJ, but I'd probably be stuck working some horrid club/house/hiphop/[c]rap music station though.Yep! By the band Buggles.
You know, it may have been 1976 and later, but I know you could get a Monza TC or Spyder with a 5.0 liter (305 cid) V-8. I think later on they even may have offered a 350 but I'll have to do some digging.oh, the chevy monza. no monzas had a big block, the 2+2 had a 265 cu in small block and was a real dog. ..

Very cool, thanks man. I've worn out a few formats of Greatest Stories Live over the years. Not as many as I have of Darkside of the Moon or Deja Vu. My iPod's holding around 10,500 songs at the moment, and that's in there.
Hub Shiners work great, and provided a couple more reflectors! And, one accessory that I now have is a "Spinning Bell" where the bekk stands up un it's edge, and when you flip the lever, it spins and sound very much like an old dial telephone, How bout that?
Used to be glass reflectors in the ends of the handle bars, also!

And some guys are lazyThere is a product called Air Zounds which uses a clear plastic bottle in the water bottle cage and a horn on the handlebar to sound with compressed air. Some people simply buy a canned air horn and fasten it to their bike.
The AirZound horn works well. I ride to work as often as I can, and there are a lot of heavy trucks in the area I ride through. They can hear me when I hit the thumbswitch. A couple of gentle taps is enough to get past the headphones of most wandering pedestrians as well. There is a product called Air Zounds which uses a clear plastic bottle in the water bottle cage and a horn on the handlebar to sound with compressed air.
