Cool! Paint's on and drying, will mount it up as soon as I get home this afternoon. Then we can do a "free run on the stand" video so you can see and hear it run and the next nice (not pouring down rain) day we'll do a riding vid! Thanks, Evan

Ok Boys and Girls,

Here it is, ametuer vids you can watch w/ the kids, from FBC. To premise the vid, bike was already warmed up as I'm curing the paint on the exhaust. I always pull once before turning it on and there she goes......

Remember Videographer I'm not! But doesn't she sound sweet!

My sentiments exactly. Wow, it does sound great. I love the slow pop pa pop pop idle. Did the tire come to a stop that suddenly because it was up in the air. If you were ridding it would you feel it jerk forward when you let off the throttle?

If someone wanted to convert your kit into a shift kit from the single speed kit in the future, that is if the shift kit isn't available at the time the shellybelly is available, is just a longer jackshaft the main change to the existing belt drive other than the obvious additions simular to the firebelly shift kit?

I did use a hand brake. The centrifugal clutch offers engine braking till it settles back to idle, so not a jerk but engine deceleration.

Glack,

Your always one step ahead of me; it would seem. ShiftyBikes are definately a part of the plan! SBP are the Shift Kit/Jack Shaft Kings and will likely make a kit for every legitimate drive system out there. But the ability to maximize your powerband the way that shifting gears allows is awesome and we'll support our systems w/ that option where possible. And it will be possible w/ the HF 79.

This "Basic Kit" is really just that; a 4 stroke version of a one speed "ChinaGirl". But w/ a bunch of widgets and whirlygigs wrought from the callused hands of your hard working neighbors. Another nice option w/ this kit will be to upgrade to a Grubee freewheel hub so that when you pedal w/o motor theres no drive train resistance. This Kit Doesn't Try to Be "Everything to Everyone". But my prediction is that, at an economical premium, it will offer unsurpassed quality and thereby offer an unequalled value.

It is likely, if our hard work is paying off, that by the time this product is approaching market that you'll be "looking into" some of our other concepts already in the works!

Stay Tuned! and Thanks for the Feedback! Evan FBC

That is a sweet 4T machine. Like that engine.

Yes we work well and cooperatively with Firebelly and crew. We often are in the same boat - understaffed and underpaid - but behind schedule. .wee.

Tyrslilder: Can the wisperdrive for the Hf engine be made to work on a honda if the hole patern is drilled to fit and the pulley on the Max Torque clutch is sized down to the proper ratio? Or is the shaft on the honda to short?

Glack,
That could work, they don't offer a smaller pulley that I know of. Actually the way it is it could be made to work if specs were adjusted to allow a 7" pulley, the current is 5.45". We are designing a drive system to work w/ the Honda/HS motors and that design will lend itself very well to jackshafting the "slowmotors". It's all in the works and we should have two more prototype drive systems in the coming month. It is our goal to bring them all to market sometime in spring!

P.S. We started w/ the simple one as a building block for the others!

Nice, I did not notice that before. Though Jim sometimes requires large runs for such mods, We'll speak to him about it. We would like to offer a budget Honda kit as well! Thanks again, Evan.
