I built this one just because I've always loved old BMX bikes.
This started life as a Schwinn Heavy Duty cruiser, but it totally has the old skool 26" BMX look now!
The frame & fork are powder coated & I put one of my rear cylinder tanks on it.
I also did a few hot rod tricks to the engine & I hollowed out the pipe to make a mini expansion chamber... (now it totally has that 2-stroke sound!)
I hope you guys like it.

I like the fuel tank. Where did it come from? How will you adjust the chain.

Overall I like it a lot. Very clean looking, and still looks like a bicycle.

Sweet, clean looking build....I've always liked that frame....like it even more now! Looking at it makes me want to launch it off some big jumps, then wheelie down the block. Real nice job there Norm! Cheers!.wee.dnut

Norm, you continue to come up with cool ideas. I love the old three bar BMX cruisers and even have a couple. Every once and awhile I think about dropping in an engine but just can't bring myself to do it to one of these rare and very expensive frames. Using a Schwinn Heavyduti is perfect! It has the look but with thicker tubing that will not crimp under engine mounts. A perfect idea. Now you need some blue or gold anodized rims, a tuf neck, and maybe some Oakley IIIs. Mind if I take it for a spin?
