UBER COOL! You could find a brass can to put on the handlebars to look like a carbide and water res. But stuff it with batterys. Have you converted to LED bulb?

Velo I have not converted the light yet. I was thinking of trying to put the batteries in the light but you have a better idea. I have a small brass fire extinguisher that might be just right thanks Tom
 
Thats a good looking light! I too found a bunch of stuff this week end at an old antique barn, like veteranary syringes for oil primers, old tanker helmets similar in shape to old foot ball helmets that could be covered in leather with ear flaps added, rear fender mount leather bags.
It's great! when you run run across a piece of history that you can actually afford and either restore to use on piece or repurpose it for something else
 
Hi guys
I have been working on my magneto. Its not really a mag its just built to look like one. The mag. contains a set of auto points and a model T buzz coil. I will hide a small battery in the oil tank to power it..

Yeah, that's what I did with mine. The headlamp is a replica. The batteries are in the "reservoir". I tried LED. I went back to incandescent. I can't say truly which is brighter, but I could see better at night with the old incandescent - which is what mattered.
 
I remade my handlebars and built a fuel tank. The mag had to be down sized it was just to big. some times good ideas are not good and no mater how much time you have in it you just need to start over. Tom

 
Tom, your bike is truly a work of art, especially the engine. Keep up the good work, and let us know how you progress.
 
Love the Indian rear suspension and the different type styles from other bikes, it is BEAUTIFUL! and rather unique, those handle bars are the BOMB! too

I like the rivet design on the tank sort of a mix between a Reading Standard and Harley, I'm very interested to see what you come with concerning the mag chain cover & oil box
Like I said you are building a very beautiful & uniquely styled bike, keep it up! and keep the details at eye widening statis and something else to think about is the paint job, this bike commands a show stopping wardrobe.
I like the Butternut Yellow wheels and the brown Harley with that color on the wheels WOW! but the dark blue with wheel combo is sharp too.

Your far more talented than I can ever dream to be, so I hope you don't mind me making an observation....... In my opinion your headlight is far too large and it's causing your wheels to look smaller than they actually are. But that's just my taste and I may be alone on that point of view. Either way I love the bike and wish I had a tenth of your talent.
 
Harry thanks for you opinion. I think the light is to big also but most of the people that have seen my bike in person like it. When I get further along I will probably change it . I need to build my own any way. Tom

I reworked the ignition system and put the Honda carb. back on after drilling out the jet.It runs a lot better now. looking at this video the timing needs advanced. Tom
