Build your own seat. Design it to fit your butt and your riding style. That's the way to untimate comfort. I never found a bicycle seat that fit me or that I could stand for more than a couple of miles. All of my bikes have home made saddles now and they provide the comfort I wanted and needed.
They're not that hard to make. Got a welder?

Tom
For you only it's not that hard.

LOL, Here's the list of everyone with the skill to make their own seat.

Yeah baby!

That thing looks like it could split your buttocks in 2.

You planning on a lot of hard pedaling? Why the Lance Armstrong model?

If you want a really good a$$ hatchet why don't you buy a French Ideale saddle? Wow do they ever try to cut you in half! I own one in my collection of track saddles, - I've never used it, - just kept it for display coz I'm not silly.
How wide is it? The one I'm looking at is 149mm.

I don't know, but I usually have to buy about 4 seats before I find one I like, and something tells me this will be no different.

Wow! I never dreamed that we would be discussing a stealth a$$ hatchet on this thread.
That sounds both sick and twisted and also something that James Bond would have carried for emergencies/ quick dispatch of a foe.

Just for you biknut, 'cause you are - :)

I went outside and pic'ed my Gyes Cruiser saddle.

It is 9.5 inches wide and 10.75 inches long. It's not an "ass hatchet"

Cost about $80 and worth every penny!

That definitely looks like a comfy seat, but I think it wouldn't look right on a bomber. Bomber's look like a bike that should have a crappy seat. What I'm searching for is a seat that looks good on a Bomber, which means it looks like a crappy seat, but one that secretly doesn't feel as crappy as it looks.

Brown seats are out. White too. Black is good, and maybe red. Black with red piping would probably work.

Just some suggestions. One is just for fun. :)

Tom
The picture on the right is the right one ! You could ride your girlfriend or slide back on the seat and ride too. :)

And it looks good. :)

That bike looks too much like a dirt bike to have a skinny road bicycle seat. :)

LOL Tom. I do like how the seat on the right looks, but you do realize the swing arm has 10" of travel? I can see me now, blasting down the street about 45 mph when all of a sudden I hit a pot hole, and BAM, launched to the moon.

The only problem with the right photo is you'd have to remove that factory seat mount. As for suspension travel we'd have to build that in by raising the seat a little. As for 10" of travel; do you plan to do a lot of off-road riding?

If we lived closer I'd be happy to build a seat for you. How could we do it long distance?
I'd need some pretty accurate measurements but I think it could be done.
