Hi
can you show link for hf142, I'd get it for my 2nd bike

The following is most likely TMI, but hopefully it will clarify things a little.

There is a HuaSheng 142F, also known as a HS142.
http://www.bicycle-engines.com/49cc-Gas-Powered-4-Stroke-Engine-Five-Eighths-Inch-Shaft.html
There is no HF142.
The HS142 is 49cc, has 2.5 horsepower, peaks at 6800 RPM and redlines at 8000 RPM.
Then there is the HF79.
http://www.harborfreight.com/engine...cc-ohv-horizontal-shaft-gas-engine-69733.html
The HF79 is 79cc, has 3 horsepower, peaks at 2500 RPM and redlines at 3600 RPM.
Both can get you moving fast down the road, they just need different gearing to do it.
The HF79 has more torque so in most gearing situations it will climb hills easier and be quicker off the line.

Now, if only I could mod a HF79 to redline at 8000 RPM!

boygofast is just terrible, i just went to fedex to return the fuel tank and fedex told me, "you can not return it, this shipper does not accept returns, you can mail it back but will need their address and you will have to pay for the return" "post office is also charging me" so lesson learned do not ever purchase anything from boygofast or www.bestmotorkit.com never ever

sorry didn't mean to ignore you, 8000 rpm would be sweet ride brnot , at that speed with my luck i will probably be going weeeee weeee all the way to hospital :)

My HS142, with it's current gearing, tops out at 32MPH.
It does give me plenty of weeee's but the hospital has not been a destination so far.
If AGK comes out with a race ready connecting rod for the HF79, things may change...
.duh.

It is all about gearing and engine performance under stress, especially in hot summer. Actually I am looking into purchasing some sorta oil cooler for this summer, but I am not sure if i should do it.

Today installed fuel tank, installed sick bike parts fuel valve

if it leaks I'll just install my gas can

currently thinking how to mount this 22mm mikuni

Been riding and riding, rain, sun, day and night, just beautiful smooth ride on my stock setup no hiccups or any issues.

now planning new 212cc build and bigger bicycle, got my eye on Custom Motored Bicycles long beach bike. Maybe i can find it some place closer to me. Will use as many parts as I can of the schwinn. The schwinn Riverside is just not fit for harbor freight engines and big guys.

does anyone know if Micargi Huntington is bigger than Schwinn riverside?
is it same as bike lynn got on her CustomMotoredBicycles.com identified as long beach oversized cruiser?

I don't know if the huntington would fit the 212, but be prepare to deal with the vibration on the 212. Even after adding gussets + isolator, it still has a lot of vibration. Maybe it's just my motor though.

maybe i can add external dropouts on the back so rear wheel does not look so cramped up,
my buddy goes, dude! now you are looking to add drops next you'll be looking into fat tires, wtf .......
lol
