Well I haven't chimed in on this thread because I didn't know if I would still be living in Callie at the time of the race. Well I looks like I'm down for this. Where do I sign up? Can I get number 26? I hope sign up is not closed yet...

Sign up and paying the $25 entry fee is just starting next week so you are
fine. I will be announcing how to do it here.

I will also be signing people up at the OC ride at the Stanton Car Show this
Saturday May 21st.

33 days to go to the event and race at Willow Springs!

You will be racing in the Chinese 2 stroke class and if you finish
in the first 8 to 9 you will also be in the final ultimate race of all
the classes. Too much fun and much more to be announced!

Are you bringing anyone else from Mentone Ca?
Do you have room to bring others?
Please post in the car Pool thread if you can.

There are no restrictions on how hopped up your 2 stroke "China Girl" is.

There will be restrictions on how powerful the unlimited gas and electric
bikes are.
11 hp water cooled Morini is about the limit on gas bikes and any electric
bike of an equivalent hp or greater hp should contact me first if you want
to race.

Please contact me if you have some monsta or multi internal geared gas bike too.

yes getting from pipelyne 9.6 morini I'll be bringing the origional rat racer too so I will race multiple events.

If anyone needs a ride from Az. im me to get info
How much does that Pipelyne 9.6 Morini cost now?

How are we going to work racing 2 different bikes in 2 classes?
same number on both bikes or have to issue another number?

There is only 1 entry fee of $25 per rider.

Thanks a lot magrider for all your hard work.

The revised schedule, format and the racing sheets that can be used for racer registration. once everyone is registered these can be posted on a board or wall for everyone to see what race they are in.

The final / results sheets can be posted there also. this will let everyone know when their race is and what place they got.

We talked about wristbands.
How many colors do we need?

Wristpass? Wristbands - Purple - 85014

BiMoPed here is one way to assign numbers
Maybe make one number with an a,b,c or d suffix depending on the class of bike it is.You are running four classes assign a letter suffix to those riders riding multiple events. A rider has 2 bikes in different classes, assign say 14a to his morini and 14b to his ebike that way you can have 99 numbers times 4, thats a lot of riders. In other words each class has a letter designation. lets say you have finished well in both of your heat races In the unlimited final you can only ride one of the bikes as you were the qualifier on that bike I have my own number plates I,ll do them anyway you guys decide upon but I think my idea is simple and effective....see ya there

We just would like to know if you got our last
post with the question for registration?
How do we pay for it (mail?) and could you reserve # 15, 16,and 17
for 3 bikes for us? We would like to run in
"china girl" class, 4 stroke, and unlimited as well!
Thank you

Thank you

your welcome for the sheets, schedule and formats, it's the least I could do to for the race in Cali. The Death race had 2 different color wristbands. one for the racers, one for the spectators. I'd choose the colors that cost the least.

Every bike should get their own different # to avoid any confusion.

Yes, I did but I only one guy putting on this race and
I answered this in post # 134 up there.
Yes you can mail your payment in soon but I am waiting to see what numbers
the pistonbike guys took.
You guys have some very nice bikes, it's going to be a lot of fun, thanks
A bunch of guys have already signed up and paid at PistonBikes out in Simi Valley
so I have to find out what numbers they took and see if 26 is available.

Sign up and paying the $25 entry fee is just starting later this week so you are fine. I will be announcing how to do it here.

I will also be signing people up at the OC ride at the Stanton Car Show this
Saturday May 21st.

Officially count me in!!
I'll pay when I get there, & give me any number you want. (^)
You are in! Is your girlfriend racing or cruising on the track too?

All track riders must have at least a readable front number plate that
you will be providing,
so I would prefer that you pre register so that you can have your number
plate already made.

Prepay is $25
Paying on Friday or race day Saturday will be $29
You also need to pre register your pit workers
for which there will be no charge.
Spectators will be $10

Volunteers for corner workers, lap scorers etc will get in free
and all serious racers are required to help out when you aren't
on the track.

Still looking for an
EMT.
Flags.
Graphic artist to design a race logo and flyer.
Sponsors.
Publicity.
A cool name for the race lol
and lots of other stuff....

Come to this Saturdays OC ride from the Adams Donut Car Show
to the Stanton Car Show to give your input in person for the event.
Thanks.
Only 31 days to go.....

Willow Springs is providing the colored wristbands.

different #? Like 12 and 12a? Will that work?

Are you coming to the ride this Saturday to work these details out?

cool on the wristbands. different #'s like 1,2,3,4 etc. less confusion. numbers with a prefix will be harder for the scorers to keep track of the bikes IMO. i can't make it Sat. but I'll talk to you before then

There is no 48 cc law in CA and the speed limit is 30 mph even
though I have never heard of a MBer getting a speeding ticket.

Wear a DOT helmet and you will probably not need anything.
You will get an expensive ticket for not wearing a helmet in CA.
Need your helmet to ride at Willow Springs too.

I have ridden for a long time and thousands of miles without
even been pulled over and I have never had a CA License plate.
I know many riders that have had the same experience.
I will be getting my first plate very soon

If you have an out of state drivers license with a motorcycle endorsement
you would not have a problem even if you were pulled over in one of
the stricter areas like Newport Beach, Huntington Beach or Ventura.

Most areas in Los Angeles and Orange County do not enforce the CA
motorized bicycle laws about plates.
