It's been 4 years since my wife died and I'm finally ready to start again. I can look at a woman and not see my dead wife. I can share w/o sobbing. Most of these women have dead husbands too, so we have lots to talk about.
It's been really good for me, I feel like a kid again. Even though I'm home alone I know that I'll be out soon and having fun. I've been cleaning and de-cluttering up a storm. Don't want them coming over and seeing my "pit". I've got a spring in my step and a smile on my face that I've not had in 4 years.
It's feels good to be alive again!

Dad quit 10 years before he died and a more miserable man I've never seen
and he never smiled in that period. the day of his death he asked me for one
I blocked the door to his H room and let him have 2, 20 minutes later he died
with a smile on his face. he was dying anyways! the ticket was worth it.
2 doors down from me I have a woman just celebrate her 102 birthday
I occasionally help her out but she's mobile and happy.
when I asked her her secret this was her reply
" son I've been smoking all my life and drinking and when the good lord see's fit
to take me I'll stop. Now sit down and have a shot and smoke with me."

EAT DRINK AND HAVE MARY FOR TOMORROW I MAY BE DEAD
Already in the last month I've just barely avoided being hit 6 times on my bike
the snowbirds are back and I'm not a kid rider I follow the rules of the road.
here's the last of my rant
My nephew smokes which I don't like but one day he was sitting out side of
frys next to the ashtray and this guy went out of his way to walk over to him
and start whining about the dangers of smoking and this is what he said.
"Sir are you about to get in your car and drive away, well did you know
that for every minute your engine is running you put 1 pack of the same
carcinogens in the air and I walk breathing your S**T when you quit driving
I'll quit smoking sound reasonable?" the guy walked away in a huff.
Imagine that!
BUT I DO AGREE KIDS IF YOU'VE NEVER STARTED, DON'T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Od feller lives next street over is 90 and still smokes non filtered cigs everyday and he has for the last 75 years. He will die of awnryness before he ever dies from smoking. He just has the right genetics to be a smoker. Kinda like old George Burns.
My grandmother however died at 64 from emphysema and I watched them pump what looked like coffee out of her dying lungs. Now I aint afraid of dying, but laying there choking like a fish out of water sounds very unappealing. I am thinking a massive heart attack from trying to start a stubborn china girl sounds much better. Falling over dead after a struggle with a big fish don't scare me!
Not everybody who smokes is going to die from smoking, but it usually is an awful long drawn out path of misery for those who do. Russian roulette is even a better game then smoking because for those who do get the unlucky chamber...it would more then likely be a quick death! For those who have drawn the unlucky card or gene of not being able to combat the risk associated with smoking...well that is usually a slow and agonizing death.
I really did love to smoke and would still love to smoke, but I was finding out early that I was going to be one of the unlucky ones since I was already suffering many side affects associated with smoking in my mid 30's. I was on a path of dying young and could see oxygen bottles and grocery store scooter in my future. I aint afraid of dying, but I still need another 30 or 40 years to get done the list of things I still need and want to get done and getting those done with an oxygen bottle attatched to me would make it pretty darn difficut!

4 years ago my wife died. Pops died back in March and my dog who got me through all that death died in September. Was just me in a house w/o life. I think I was depressed and didn't know. I was up to 3 cartons a week. Hey just light up another, maybe I'll join 'em all sooner.
I was even lighting one after getting up to pee at night. And I'm on insomnia drugs that make me groggy. Yup doped up and smoking in bed. Could have burned myself alive. Bad crazyness.
Nope, I don't smoke anymore. I'd rather date women and have fun. You can't lie either, a non-smoker can tell if you've been smoking from 5 feet away. A pair of breasts feels way better on my chest than a pair of shock paddles after a heart attack me thinks.

This online dating thing has worked for me. At first it was not fun. Lotta scammers and gamers out there. And looky-loos. One of my dates said that some guy looked her (profile) over 26 times and didn't say a word. But there are real people out there too and they are just as scared as you are. And they are so real it almost makes you cry.
I've gone out with 2 women that fits. One said she had gotten braces that were not in her pics and the other said that her friend helped with her profile and she might be a little plumper than advertised. Both advised before the date in case I wanted to back out.
Yup, almost made me cry.
And we love to talk about all the scammers out there, that's good for at least a half hour of conversation. It's certainly not an ideal way to meet people, but as one date said "what else are you gonna do, hang out in bars?"
You want to meet some real people with real problems, go hang out in bars.

Match was so full of scammers and gamers that I stopped all contact, made account inactive and did not renew. Keep the $200, it's not worth it. Had one scary lady. We made a date for afternoon coffee and then she cancelled it and asked me to contact off site. I told her that I would not contact off site until we had met. She came back with an edge. "Why should I meet you, I don't want to ride on the back of those motorcycles, not even around the block"
OK. Don't need that kind of drama in my life.
Last year, in the beginning of December, a friend posted on FB that he was going to a vape meet. I asked if I could ride with him and I won some juice in the raffle while there. So I had some juice but no way to vape it. Got a used ProTank2 for 15 bux, then bought a battery for it. Been vaping ever since and I love it. I get my nicotine but I can breath again. I don't wake up coughing for 20 minutes every day. My house smells like a bakery now and not an ashtray. I no longer stink and need less perfume. I doubt I will ever stop vaping. I enjoy it a whole bunch. Lots of different flavor juices that satisfy my sweet tooth and have no calories. So it's a win win kinda thing.
