Other Rides.

I haven't seen a thread about peoples other rides. Whether they are a car, a truck, motorcycle. I would like to see what every one else has for everyday use besides our "trust worthy" *ahem* motor bicycles.

Well I will start this party off.

First up is my 1977 C10 short bed. This is my new truck. I named him Clyde.

I also have a 1978 KZ400 that is currently hacked up and awaiting the day I stop being lazy and weld on my hardtail.


I have a few more motorcycles but they are in desperate need of an overhaul and rebuild I won't count them.

I have a little courier biz and go threw cars purty quick. Just replaced a '94 Ford Escort (or as BA called it, a "Frescort" lol) With a '05 Ford Focus. Carol really liked the car and now I can finally say I have focus. Bit of a difficulty for me. Is actually a great little car. Funny thing. Had smaller tires on it then recomended. Just upgraded em and now don't get as good MPG but the engine stopped reving so high ya'd a thought it was gonna explode. Amazing what a couple of inches did to the ratio. Really is like night and day.

Mine are 1985 f250 converted to dually and 1984 ranger that I am building a 5.0 for. My wife drives a 1999 GMC Surburban 4wd. I have a 1954 Ford pickup waiting in the wings for a buildup.

Gotta love the old Fords. I'm a ford guy personally, but I couldn't pass up the C10. Its in awesome shape and the price was right.

Interesting thread. I've posted photos of my car and bikes before so I won't dupe them here.

3 MBs, one hot rod, an 01 Ford Ranger and a 99 Jeep Cherokee. Wish I still had some of the vehicles I've had and sold over the years. Topping that list would be the 1947 Cessna 140 that's still flying somewhere in south Florida.

This is my daily driver..... its a 1964 Valiant AP5 Safari wagon and i love it. I always have some older person coming up and saying they remember having one or someone they knew had one and you just dont see them on the road anymore.

The Harley-Davidson was T-boned by a car 5-'09 and totaled, I bought it from a wrecked vehicle dealer and repaired it. The Ford features a stroked flathead with Jahns pistons and an Isky cam, dual exhaust and twin Stromberg two-barrels. SORRY, I spaced off the part about "everyday drivers" in the original post, the Ford has not seen 100 miles a year for a long time!

Its all good. It doesn't have to be a daily driver. I'm just interested and seeing what people have and get enjoyment out of. On a side note. Your flathead sounds like a straight beast. Bet she sounds awesome.
 
Be a hard choice for me to decide which sounds better The souped up Flathead or the Shovelhead. Both have a unique and mesermising sound.
 
I've got one other vehicle: a 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan with a 3.3 six cylinder. I'd like to say that I'd buy another one in a heartbeat if she ever died, but I can't afford to let her die. I'd use income tax money to have the engine rebuilt if it ever came to that. In my experience, that's always the cheapest route. I keep up with all the general maintenance. In turn, she just keeps on trucking me, my wife, and my kids around. I remember a time, a few years ago when she rolled over to 100K. Now I think she's past 140K, and still runs pretty much the same. I think Caravans are one of the best things Dodge/Chrysler makes.

the maine license-plate is only for photo reasons, i'm a german guy...:D
