So one of my jet ski buddies posted it and I was surprised how many people got it wrong the first time. Probably from all the water lodged into their brains.
I'm pretty sure you guys will get it right.

81! if the dual sunflowers in the third equation mean something.

Easy with matrices plus super attention to detail.

Just assign a number value to the flowers and it's easy math. Hey, if I can do it, anybody can. Math was my least favorite subject in school. :)

I bet my youngest son +/- 5 hours of video game time for Saturday and he got it right! I got it wrong the first time as well. So far I see some correct answers. Lol

3x = 60, x = 20
20 + 2y = 30, y = 5
5 - 2z = 3, z = 1
z + x * y = 1 + 20 * 5, PEMDAS, 1 + (20*5) = 101
I'm with Rafterman. I was taught that, in any equation sequence, you do the multiplication and division before you do the addition and subtraction, regardless whether the addition or subtraction fell earlier in the sequence. I'm leaning toward 101.

Thanks for the shout out, I usually cheat at work by using a calculator so I had to check my rules, even if you type 1 + 20 x 5 no parentheses into a calc, it performs the operation protocol for you, and you end up with 101
