Man, that new pair of jeans and jacket I gave him are gettin' pretty whooped! I guess they don't last long when you buy 'em at wal mart.

"The Happy Wahoo"
a few pics of my build with Happy, after buying the frame and recieving it, I realized the frame is actually too small for the build! I didnt know how a frame is actually measured until after. the correct way to measure a frame is from the center of the crank to the top of the seat stay! I had measured and thought that the way to measure was from the center of crank to center of top tube(backbone) and the listing of the bike was 19" so I thought perfect, and so I bought it online from propertyroom.com. well it's gonna be a challenge to shoe horn that motor in there, where there is a will there is a way! I will post pics in the next few days of our progress. in the last photo there is no room for the stock intake with the carb, so I got this carb from hookworm123 and we'll see what happens when the time comes.

well, here are some updates about "Happy" Happy is helping me build this Gary Fisher and were waiting on some fenders to finish. should be here by the weekend. At which time Happy will be with me New Years and then He wants to go where it's warm!!!! any takers on having Happy spend some MB time with you? here are some pics of my build with Happy, Custom intake and exhaust, rear sprocket, throttle lever, and modified clutch. new motor, only 9 miles lol... it really needs to get out but it has been so cold here! the bike runs really nice, smooth. I had to go with the slant head because the size of frame. I bought the head seperate, added another Head gasket and it really winds up! top speed so far 36mph. running a 39t rear sprocket! and the exhaust is a super smooth 3 stage pipe! its quiet enough but it really hauls the mail!!!!
although Happy has gotten acclimated to the cold, it seems Happy would like to go to Maine and see BA

I don't think Happy would be a fair and open-minded judge, given he's prone to some vices an' all :D

Tho I think ifn he's lookin fer a place to go - he outa check out bairdco's bike first, mine's still in little pieces and the last thing I need is another lil gremlin loosin' stuff for me heh

(actually I'd like to take some crusin' pics and don't feel like pedalin' to do it) ;)

This is the MB that Happy Built, he worked hard on it so I set him up with a couple more bottles of liqour! He sure loves that stuff! but any way this is the "Happy Wahoo" mountain bike. got a real good deal on the bike through propertyroom.com. mis measured the frame and had to squeeze the motor in. had to get a slanthead head and then also make a straight intake with a 35 degree bend to clear the backbone. new tires and rims,39t sprocket-its got good torqe and top speed, nice blackburn flea rechargeable head light. this is a nice light, check it out on line. just got in, some bar end tail lights there really nice also! (e-bay),new topeak fenders, disc brakes, new rear brake pads, new cables, finger throttle. this is a nice ride!!!!
any comments or questions are welcome. Happy done a GOOD job! have him help you build your next one!!!!brnot

Sweet ride FS! Just did a similar build for the nephews on a $25 CList Haro. Really like how a MTB feels to ride. Sort of a complete control from leaning on the bars. (a lil ruff on the hands for long rides, but worth it)

LOL Baird! Was thinking a "Barbie" Baby bicycle seat would work. Just googled it and can't find one. Tom (2Door) made a really cool bar mount. Happy likes 2B upfront, large an' in charge

what are you, psychic? i was just looking for this thread.

he showed up today, rattling around in his little recycled coffin. one of his liquor bottles was broken, so i guess he enjoyed the trip.

he didn't help much when i was putting my new bike together, but i think he was digging on the paint fumes...

upon recieving Happy and going to take a picture of him and his bottle of booze, he lost his head and when I tried to catch it I knocked the bottle of booze and it fell on the floor and broke :( So I bought him two more bottles of booze to make up for it:) and then I thought of a way for Happy to keep his head by inserting a bobby pin (spine).
Keep on ,Keeping on Happy. Hope you have a great time in Ca.

tell him sorry, not me. the little bugger's teeth were still chattering when i took him out of the box. i looked at the weather for Decatur. 27 degrees!!?? i'm suprised he wasn't cyrogenically frozen for the trip out here...

it was 65 today, and i think he was digging the sun. i think i'll take a break from my new bike build tomorrow and take him for a ride. it's supposed to rain friday and saturday.
