Well today I fabbed the crank case plates that go inside the polished mounting brackets and tomorrow I'll drop them off for powder coating then I'll sweat talk my buddy and see if he will do some detail work to give it a little 3-d effect even though they're flat sided.
After my big disappointment with the length of the vintage clothe spark plug wire, Velodrome set me on the right path to get them for a $1.40 a ft insted of $12.99 a ft and a lot more colors
Thanks! Velodrome, Just goes to show the comrodere we share on this forum and how one can grow dependent on the wealth of knowledge given and shared on this forum,I have also given advice to any and all interested in either building or buying a M/B to do some research on this forum FIRST! about obtaining the necessary knowledge about what you'll be spending your $$ on and what is required to maintain a M/B. and or what you'd like to build.
My next post (hopefully!) will be of the finished crank case, Man that was some hard work cutting the metal with a jig saw, hand filing, sanding and drilling, but still fun!
"YHA! you know your wierd when we get our kicks with a welding stick" (LOL!)
