Blood Thursty!

I will I will I will...... "Black to the Future" was just a teaser, I have basically one week till I can devote full time to the red skin, every time I walk by it screams to me, kinda sounds like you! (LOL!)

Man I can't waite for a break to start working on this Red Skin thinking about getting a modified piston from the guy who makes that round High Comp head from CRMachine he's got an ebay store and actually saw it there while looking for something else.

I hope we're talking about the Indian? I was just mess'n with Ol 9 finga's Velo on those other pic's
YAH! I can't waite either, work has totally swamp me! (no! Complaints) it will have to get cut and fabed to come off the right side of the engine and bike, if you saw the earlier parts of my threads the exaust is a performance racing expansioner chamber pipe, nothing about this engine is Chinee any more except for the engine case, just ordered a high performance modified piston from CRMachine, I think it's only fitting to Let Dan
(Taylarmotorbikes, the fabricator) take it for the Maiden voyge since the Red Skin is his prototype #1 production frame. I just built it
I will be getting some work done soon
Thanks!

Sure hope Dude dont git his 11th finger caught up in his motor laff

One last dry fit, then final assembly,I bought allen bolts for the head but need to cut an allen wrench to fit into a socket to torque it down and I'll use the Hi Temp copper spray gasket but am wondering if I need to seal the base gasket as well ?, sure does look like a WARRIOR!!

Did a little engineering today on the clutch cable pulley wheel, clutch pulley wheel you say ???
Well I don't like clutch cables that just hang across the engine and pull through the clutch eye bolt (located in the lower top portion of the block behind the piston cylinder) that causes un-do wear on the cable because of the different levels of through connection,so I bought a metal, ball bearing closet door roller on an aluminum bracket, I bent the bracket 90% and bolted it to the long bolt on the backside of the clutch cover
Hummm! looks good but whare is the cable going to sit? so sifting through my stuff I found a roof truss bracket and got to cutting and drilling with my Dremel, I took a cable stop adjuster from a set of front fork brakes and mounted it level with the inner pulley ring and WaLa!, nice and straight, nice and tight, less drag on the cable and clutch arm, however there will be some light mdification to it but it will work superbly.
Check it out

Checking out all the stuff that DD does is kinda making me feel like my mods are tiny, that guy does awsome work! so here is another little mod I made to replace the little crappy plastic nut for the electrical outlet, it was another object foraged and recycled off a job I did remodling a house built in the 1930's, the brass fitting actually came off of a cieling fixture, and a rubber bushing in the center to prevent wear and tear on the wire

Ya Know there are some pretty damnn good builders out there,Lurker,Dare Devil, Cobra freak,Silver Bear,Velodrome,Sportscar Pat and on and on but the one guy my hat stays off for is my buddy Dan at Taylar bikes, here is a look at some of what Dan does and just think (as I toot my own horn LOL!) I have # 1 and the quality never stops! Dan is so miticulous about the quality and detail that goes into these bikes, this is a Honda GC160 engine which hasn't recieved it's full dress out yet and the 2nd pic is Dans production bikes in progress in the far left corner is a totally custom Norton for a Customer and man, that guy is getting a bad @$$ bike! can you spot the difference(s) in the build?

Hey now! Dont put me in that group! Those guys are master fabricators. I just buy stuff / parts and put togather. ( after screwing it up a few times first ) :-|| Looks like Dan's staying buisy! Thats good news. There was a point, bout a year ago, I thought he was gonna quit making these completely. I'm just now revisiting the bike I bought from him and its going 4 stroke wiith a 97cc flathead. Will be resurecting my old build thread directly.

Yer so modest Velo, Yha Dan is doing better and as soon as he can catch a break I got some work for him too! it's always tough when you get going at first then you auotmatically know where each foot goe's when you take a step and pretty soon it's like you've been doing it all along

They were'nt all BTRS and here's a beauty, THE BIKE!! guy's

Well just a short note today... I worked on the Clutch arm, tweaked it in an upward direction so the cable meets the pulley wheel horizontally level then re-tacked the weld to the clutch pivit/rotating shaft then painted and clear coated it so tomorrow I'll tackle mods on the clutch lever and Crhome drive sprocket cover as it did not come with a set pin,so if any one has any ideas on that FILL ME IN, I was thinking about using some Jeweler's glue to hold it ?
I'll post after I get the cable stops and everything related to it hooked up.
