Bairdco Main event footage June 16 2012

Thanks buddy! It's a ripper for sure! She was turned down for that tight track too. You should see her stretch her legs on a full sized roadcourse. :-)

It's a good thing Chris didn't have pedals on his Tomahawk........might have been a different story.

In short, the way to beat a 30-50HP e-bike is a tight technical track with no long straight-aways in it.....hmmmm?

Congrats on the win Luke......feels good dnut

http://www.pgm.org/ Anyone remember a radio program called "Unshackled" it was stories from the Pacific Garden Mission in Chicago Il.

wow !!!
the only thing passing you was your shadow ;)
THAT was some cool racing (^)
the 3 different cams was sweet, thanks for posting :)

Soooo cool dude!
Damn! all these awesome races seem to be out there in California! I'm stuck out here in New England, wahh! The videos are really great. The electric bike has pretty good torque, eh? I would like to hybridize my bike with a electric front wheel to help me get moving, then at high speed, the engine could do take over. Most of these race bikes seem really well tuned, judging by the sound of the exhaust note. You know, I find it interesting that the CARB law in California does not seem to quell the enthusiasm for these little 2 stroke engines! In fact, it may just do the opposite! Do all you folks in California have to go to another state to get the engines? Or do you just become "dealers"? Do the police crack down on individuals riding on the street? Well, anyway its so cool that Bairdco organizes these races, it must be a blast! Maybe we might have something like it here on the East Coast.
.shft.

Chris's 50 cc 2 stroke Moped makes about 13 hp and if there were a
few passing opportunities aside from the straights Chris might have beat him!

A SuperMoto bike with probably less hp than liveforphysics eMotorcycle
would clean his clock, maybe even lap LFP in a 12 lap race.
LFP bike is using SuperMoto slick tires and front disc brake. I don't
think that he has a back brake and he is only using regen on the back
wheel.

However it is very entertaining watching Luke race his monsta ebike.
The most notable thing was that Luke didn't break his bike this time
and finished which broke a 4? 5? race history of DNFing.

Hey Luke, how much moo-la do you have in that eMonstrosity? $20,000?
maybe more?
