The 6.4 has a differnt ignition. We prefered the 5.8 because it revs higher. The 6.4 had slighty a little more low end but couldn't hit the last power band. I think the S6 - S 9.4 hp is a 50cc motor but I'm not 100% sure.

Any input on J shaft ability SBP style so to speak? I am just wondering if I can pull that off with a cylindrical force clutch like you engines have? Thanks. Any clear up on theses questions would be greatly appreciated.
There aren't any jackshaft kits available for the Morinni motors. I don't think a bicycle chain is going to hold up well to 9+ hp. These engines use a heavier gauge of chain. Besides, It revs to 12k. You don't really need it.

I felt the same way around a year ago. I wanted something that would last longer than 1500 miles of riding. I'm sure a jackshaft can be created for the morini. Personally I think a CVT might work better for these motors.

A CVT is kinda like a tranny. It uses a belt and when the motor revs higher, the front pulley widens and make the pulley's diameter smaller thus changing the gear ratio.

Goatherder, I Built A Cvt, Pictures In "diy Cvt Belt Drive Free" Last Month. The Free Wheel On The The Rear Axle Is Such A Bonus. Of Course You Need A Pull Start. Purchased 2 Dax Titan 4 Strokes And Using One Today Building A Cvt With It. Hiker Made My Avatar From A Picture Of My Build. Makes A Great Rear Or Front Rack Build. A Bit Wide For A Inframe Build. There you go Goat Herder, Thanks Ron and that's a pretty sweet set up! The guys winning the moped races around here are using CVTs and they are extremely fast.

Thanks For The Good Words Guys! Ezr, Cvt Was Brought Up, So I Stuck My Build In. Not To Hi Jack Your Thread. Do You Know Anything About My Morini Engine? The Seller Has Little Info About The Engine. I Guess It Should Run Cool, With The Monster Fins! Last Nite He Said He Is Sending Chains, Extra Parts And The Gas Tank. If I Pay The Freight And A Bit For Labor He Will Ship The Rest Of The Frame Etc. He Is Keeping The Wheels, 10 Inch I Think. I Don`t Know If There Is Much Use On A Mab. The Saddle Bags, Maybe. I Hope The Engine Will Fit. Ron PS do you think hiker did a good job on my avatar?? lol. big kids with their toys. ha ha cvlt1

No problem Neat. I'm glad I you shared it with me. As for the Morini you purchased, I've never seen that model. It looks pretty big and I noticed that the exhaust flange on the exhaust pipes are different from the ones we use. To me, it looks like its a 90-150cc motor and I'm sure it will be quite the monster.
Back to you current bikes. Some guy showed me the same motor that you have on the bike on the left. Is that a CAG motor and how does it run?

Ezr, The Motor On The Left Bike Is Now On The Cvt Belt Drive. Cag- I Don`t Know! I Have About A Dozen Of Them. They Are The Common Horizontal Pocket Bike Motors, 49cc. The Motor You Are Refering To Is The Same But Has The 52cc Big Bore Kit. Sounds Meaner And Seems To Have More Power. I Hope The Morini Is A 50cc. The Head Bolt Pattern Looks Small In The Large Pile Of Cooling Fins.lol I Have A Tracking Number, Shipped Today. He Had To Flush The Tank For Fed X. EZR, I THINK HIKER WENT INTO THE FOREST FOR THE SUMMER. WHEN HE GETS BACK HE COULD MAKE A NICE EMOTICON OF YOUR BUILD. RON cvlt1

Shark, I Think You Are Asking Me The Price?? $67. Plus $45. S&h. I Think I Did Good. Goatherder, Yes Large Ports. My Intake Is 3/4" And The Exhaust Is 1 1/8" Round Ports. Centrifical Clutch With The Kick Starter. I Wonder What The Motors Internal Gear Reduction Ratio Is. With Jims Sprocket Adapter & Sprocket It Should Be A Nice Setup For My $50. Chrome Stretch Cruiser. A Few Hours With Sos Pads And Most Of The Rust Is Gone. Lol. Hot Hot Weather. Supposed To Hit 99 Friday. May Have To Do The Bike Work In The House. Ron . . . . cvlt1
