What about this one? 1952 schwinn. Stripped down already, but it’s on a 24” wheel. Anyway to determine steering head size? Would 26” wheels work on this bike?

this has possibilities if I can put bigger wheelson it and it has the correct head size for the forks bought

Curt you have just about convinced me to go with a ladies schwinn. The lines on are the lower Frame are what I’m looking for in this application. Closest thing to a loop frame that I can fine besides the sportsman flyer.

i’ll have to do some fabrication, including two top bars on the frame. And also removing the second looped tube in the ladies bike.

thanks curt, now i’m almost exclusively looking at schwinns.

apparently I started this thread too early because the name will have to change

If you look at it and take top bar and cut and fit it in the bottom bar, you would gain a deeper loop, plus a extension for a better look.

You can also maybe fit 26x2.35 tires in it. Print some shots and photo chop, just make sure you sleeve the frame with rosette welds and alignment jig to keep it all straight.

It has been done before in some older builds, but all takes time even looking through old builds. Something like this you have to know what engine you want and have it all planed out, and even have a quicky build to ride and resell while you are building. .............Curt
