Does that mean i can sell copies of your bike on here? Only $10 a print.... just kidding.

Hopefully the pics turn out great and they decide to do a feature. It would be better then a lot of bikes featured that owners just pick parts from a catalogue. It would be great to see some of the bikes on here make it to print.

I had the photo shoot today at the photographers studio. Deb and I had a good time and we were all talking and swapping stories back and forth. The Photographer said in a normal shoot he takes roughly 70-75 pictures of the subject but there was so many things on the bike that had detail he took 128 pictures total. Here I photographed him photographing my bike. We looked at all the digital photos and they are totally off the hook fabulous. Jaw dropping detail and composition. Lighting is perfect. He is going to go over each photo and adjust the color temperature and saturation and mail me a disk with all the adjusted pictures. He said the photos are mine for non-comercial use only. I may post them on the forums or use them for a personal website but if someone is interested in using them for commercial gain they will need to pay the photographer. As an example if a tire company wanted to use a picture in an advertisement they would need to deal with Mike. But anyone can upload as they please for wall hangers if they like, no problems. I'll post some of my favorites in the near future when I get them. I met Kent Fuller at the shoot that is a friend of Mikes and is a world class master fabricator. Ever see that old Black and White photo of the four engined four wheel drive dragster in the early 60's? He made that. He showed me pictures of custom Rolls Royces he makes with two straight 8 engines side by side in the engine compartment. He also showed me a photo of Burt Monroe's World's Fastest Indian. The Real one. He was there. He knew Burt Monroe and said he bought him dinner on the last time he came to Bonneville! This guy is cool. Oh, he liked my bike :) but I'm sure he was just being nice. He is like Einstein to a math teacher, lol. Here is some of Kent Fullers work-

Ok, good news, Mike the photographer said he is going to actively attempt to sell these photos to magazines and he has some in mind. I'll keep you posted on this as well. If I make a magazine it will be surreal. Like the Rolling Stone Cover Song, "I'll buy five Copies for my Mother", lol. There is also a invitation-only car show happening. The Santa Rosa Custom Auto and Bike show is March 9-11 in Santa Rosa and Mike is one of the organizers of this event. He said he wanted me to be in it! This is awesome because I will be able to rub elbows with the best of the best fabricators in the business. This whole thing is becoming quite a ride :)

Cool, did you do anything for the shoot?

I mean did you clean it up or leave it with road grime to add to the patina?
I did nothing to the bike. It never was "really" dirty, just worn and paint and stains everywhere. You will really see everything like never before. The lousy photos I posted before can't do justice. The bike really looks 101 years old, which is what I was shooting for when I made it. I think this is why people like it.

Yeah, if it's on Youtube or faceBook then the whole Planet has a chance to see you, Lol. I posted her on my page too. I thought She rode it really well. She never went on a motorized two wheel anything before. I let her ride my 49cc four stroke motorized bike and She really liked it because we were able to cover much more ground than ordinary pedal bikes. She always refused to ride the Indian when I offered to let her. I knew that the time was ripe to get her on it from her happy experience on the smaller bike. I thought She would go slow but She was tearing down the street at 30mph. I was proud of my Baby :)
