SBP new 2 Stroke Shift Kit

Well we started shipping the new kits this weekend. Here are some photos of the new system. I think to the layman they won't see a big difference but there is. First it is an all one piece design. This eliminates having to align things when installing. There are now 3 fasteners to attach the kit where there were 8 in the old design. This also reduces any issues created by the variations in the different engines. Hope you all like it.

I am a huge fan of the new design. That bracket will fix all the little things that i had problems with on my build. I cant wait for the conversion kit. I bought one of the old ones a little while before the swap.

Just two questions:
1. How do you adjust the chain from the motor to the jackshaft if need be and...
2. Are the back mounting bracket holes pre-drilled, and if you have a larger "seat post" is there room to drill holes for bigger U bolts?

Regardless I am eying a nice new mountain bike I want to jackshaft, and provided your price didn't go up I can lower mine simply because of the time savings of a one piece design.

As mentioned above, way to improve bud, you guys be the men ;-}

What they just did is made things more universal for DYI non kit folks too. That rear bracket is liken to a one stop shop. Why because you can attach that to a bike then retro welded mounts etc for any motor...

The way that mounts looks to be more solid.

1) Adjust with supplied shims. See the installation instructions.

2) Good questions and always one of our larger headaches. Yes the holes are predrilled, but we have a different part for 1.375" seat posts than the 1.125 and 1.25" seat posts. Makes a bit of an inventory hassle for us, but easier for the customer who just needs to know the seat post size.

Actually we knocked $10 off our HD kit price.

Outstanding news!
My business plan took a little detour last Sunday night when one of my 3 demo bikes was stolen, but I still want to press ahead.
It will be slow going here in Phoenix with 115° temps and summer break, but come Fall I expect business to really pick up here.
Even the endless stream of Sheriff Joe's new 'Transportation Challenged' people will be able to ride one when the weather lightens up, and a little motor with shift kit just can't be beat on the right bike in my book ;-}

I see it,,,another thought ,,a double piviot mount for the front of the motor would be more secure and easy to use,when adjusting motor height for the crank chain,,simply loosen the bolts and mount bolts ,as the motor was adjusted up in the back the front mount would take on the shape to fill the space and then simply tighten the bolts
